扫罗对替他拿兵器的人说：“拔出你的刀来，把我刺透，免得这些未受割礼的人来凌辱我。”但替他拿兵器的人不肯这样作，因为他非常害怕；于是扫罗拿出刀来，自己伏在刀上死了。

就對拿軍器的護兵說：『拔出刀來，將我刺透，免得這些沒有受割禮的人來作弄我。』拿軍器的護兵因為非常懼怕，不情願刺他；掃羅就拿刀，自己伏上。

謂持兵之士曰、汝其拔刃刺我、恐未受割者至、加以狎侮。持兵之士懼甚、不敢奉命、掃羅觸刃而死。

謂執其兵器者曰、爾可拔刀刺我、恐未受割禮者、凌辱我、執其兵器者懼甚、不敢奉命、

Saul said to his armor-bearer,“ Draw your sword and run me through, or these uncircumcised fellows will come and abuse me.” But his armor-bearer was terrified and would not do it; so Saul took his own sword and fell on it.

Saul spoke to the man who was carrying his armor. He said,“ Pull out your sword and stick it through me. If you don’t, these men who aren’t circumcised will come and hurt me badly.” But the man was terrified. He wouldn’t do it. So Saul took his own sword and fell on it.

Then Saul said to his armor-bearer,“ Draw your sword and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and mistreat me.” But his armor-bearer would not, for he feared greatly. Therefore Saul took his own sword and fell upon it.

Saul groaned to his armor bearer,“ Take your sword and kill me before these pagan Philistines come to taunt and torture me.” But his armor bearer was afraid and would not do it. So Saul took his own sword and fell on it.

Then Saul said to his armor-bearer,“ Draw your sword and run me through with it, or these uncircumcised men will come and torture me.” But his armor-bearer would not do it because he was terrified. Then Saul took his sword and fell on it.

Then Saul said to his armor bearer,“ Draw your sword and thrust me through with it, otherwise these uncircumcised Philistines will come and abuse me.” But his armor bearer would not, for he was very afraid. So Saul took his own sword and fell on it.

Then Saul said to his armorbearer,“ Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised men come and abuse me.” But his armorbearer would not, for he was greatly afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword and fell on it.

Then said Saul unto his armor- bearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith, lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armor- bearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took his sword, and fell upon it.

約拿單謂執兵之少者曰、我儕往未受割者之汛、庶耶和華祐我、蓋耶和華施行拯救、不在人之眾寡也、

非利士牧伯集眾、大祭其神大袞、而取歡樂、曰、我神以敵參孫付於我手、民見之、則頌讚其神曰、我神付敵於我手、彼乃敗我邦國、殺我多人者也、中心欣喜時、則曰、其召參孫、為我作劇、遂召參孫出獄、置之柱間、乃作劇於其前、

心利見城已陷、乃入王宮之衛所、縱火焚宮而死、

獄吏寤、見獄門啟、抽刀將自殺、意諸囚已逃也、

亞比米勒急呼執兵之少者曰、拔刃殺我、免人云我見戮於婦、少者遂刺之而死、

曰、我賣無辜者之血、有罪矣、僉曰、於我何與、爾自當之、猶大擲金於殿、退而自縊、

爾僕殺獅與熊、此未受割之非利士人、侮維生上帝之軍、亦必如斯獸之一焉、

曰、請立我側而殺我、因我昏眩、而命猶存、吾知彼既傾覆、不能生活、遂立其側而殺之、取其首上之冕、臂上之釧、攜詣吾主、

非利士人遂執之、抉其目、解至迦薩、繫以銅鏈、使旋磨於獄、

大衛謂旁立之人曰、有人殺此非利士人、洒以色列人之辱、將如何待之、此未受割之非利士人為誰、而可侮維生上帝之軍乎、

參孫渴甚、籲耶和華曰、爾藉僕手、大施拯救、今將渴死、而陷未受割者之手、

執兵者見掃羅死、亦伏劍而死、

斯人以不義之償購田、身仆、腹裂、其腸突流、

毋告於迦特、毋播於亞實基倫衢、恐非利士女歡欣、未受割者之女奏凱、

大衛曰、爾伸手殺耶和華之受膏者、何不懼乎、大衛召一少者曰、前攻之、遂擊斃之、大衛曰、爾血歸於爾首、爾口自證殺耶和華之受膏者、○
