比拿雅来到耶和华的帐幕，对约押说：“王这样吩咐：‘你出来吧！’”他说：“不，我要死在这里。”比拿雅就去回覆王，说：“约押这样说，他这样回答我。”

约押统管以色列全军；耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅统管基利提人和比利提人；

于是，撒督祭司、拿单先知、耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅，以及基利提人和比利提人都下去，让所罗门骑上大卫王的骡子，送他到基训。

参孙跟他父母下亭拿去，他们到了亭拿的葡萄园。看哪，有一只少壮狮子对着他吼叫。耶和华的灵大大感动参孙，他就手无寸铁撕裂狮子，如撕裂小山羊一样。他做这事，并没有告诉他的父母亲。
