Then the Spirit came on Amasai, chief of the Thirty, and he said:“ We are yours, David! We are with you, son of Jesse! Success, success to you, and success to those who help you, for your God will help you.” So David received them and made them leaders of his raiding bands.

The Spirit of God came on Amasai. He was leader of the 30 chiefs. He said,“ David, we belong to you! Son of Jesse, we’re on your side! May you have great success. May those who help you also have success. Your God will help you.” So David welcomed them. He made them leaders in his army.

Then the Spirit clothed Amasai, chief of the thirty, and he said,“ We are yours, O David, and with you, O son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, and peace to your helpers! For your God helps you.” Then David received them and made them officers of his troops.

Then the Spirit came upon Amasai, the leader of the Thirty, and he said,“ We are yours, David! We are on your side, son of Jesse. Peace and prosperity be with you, and success to all who help you, for your God is the one who helps you.” So David let them join him, and he made them officers over his troops.

Then the Spirit enveloped Amasai, chief of the Thirty, and he said: We are yours, David, we are with you, son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, and peace to him who helps you, for your God helps you. So David received them and made them leaders of his troops.

Then the Spirit covered Amasai like clothing, the chief of the thirty; and he said,“ We are yours, David, And are with you, son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, And peace to him who helps you; Indeed, your God helps you!” Then David received them and made them captains of the troops.

Then the Spirit came upon Amasai, chief of the captains, and he said:“ We are yours, O David; We are on your side, O son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, And peace to your helpers! For your God helps you.” So David received them, and made them captains of the troop.

Then the Spirit came upon Amasai, who was chief of the thirty, and he said, Thine are we, David, and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace be unto thee, and peace be to thy helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.

Then the Spirit took control of Amasai, chief of the Thirty, and he said: We are yours, David, we are with you, son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, and peace to him who helps you, for your God helps you. So David received them and made them leaders of his troops.

Then the spirit came upon Amasai,[ who was] chief of the captains,[ and he said], Thine[ are we], David, and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace[ be] unto thee, and peace[ be] to thine helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.

But a spirit empowered Amasai, the leader of the thirty warriors, and he said:“ We are yours, O David! We support you, O son of Jesse! May you greatly prosper! May those who help you prosper! Indeed your God helps you!” So David accepted them and made them leaders of raiding bands.

Then the Spirit came on Amasai, who was chief of the thirty, and he said,“ We are yours, David, and on your side, you son of Jesse. Peace, peace be to you, and peace be to your helpers; for your God helps you.” Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.

耶和華的靈降在基甸身上；他吹角，亞比以謝族都聚集跟隨他。

押沙龍立亞瑪撒作元帥，取代約押。亞瑪撒是以實瑪利人以特拉的兒子。以特拉曾與拿轄的女兒亞比該親近；這亞比該與約押的母親洗魯雅是姊妹。

耶和華的靈降在他身上，他就作了以色列的士師。他出去爭戰，耶和華將亞蘭王古珊‧利薩田交在他手中，他的手戰勝了古珊‧利薩田。

王宮總管、市長和長老，並教養眾兒子的人，派人到耶戶那裏，說：「我們是你的僕人，凡你所吩咐的，我們都必遵行。我們不立誰作王，你看怎樣好就怎樣做吧。」

願平安、慈愛、信心從父神和主耶穌基督歸給弟兄們。願所有恆心愛我們主耶穌基督的人都蒙恩惠。

路得說：「不要勸我離開你，轉去不跟隨你。你往哪裏去，我也往哪裏去；你在哪裏住，我也在哪裏住；你的百姓就是我的百姓；你的神就是我的神。

凡照這準則行的人，願平安憐憫加給他們，和神的以色列民。

耶戶向窗戶抬頭，說：「有誰順從我？誰？」有兩三個太監向外看他。

不跟我一起的，就是反對我；不與我一起收聚的，就是在拆散。

亞比該生亞瑪撒；亞瑪撒的父親是以實瑪利人益帖。

就派十個僕人，對他們說：「你們上迦密到拿八那裏，提我的名向他問安。你們要如此說：『願你來年平安，願你家平安，願你一切所有的都平安。

以太回答王說：「我指着永生的耶和華起誓，又敢在王面前起誓：無論生死，王在哪裏，你的僕人也必在哪裏。」

你們要對亞瑪撒說：『你不是我的骨肉嗎？我若不立你在我面前取代約押永久作元帥，願神重重懲罰我！』」

王對亞瑪撒說：「你要在三日之內召集猶大人到我這裏來，你自己也要留在這裏。」亞瑪撒就去召集猶大人，不過他卻躭延，過了王所定的期限。大衛對亞比篩說：「現在比基利的兒子示巴對我們的危害恐怕比押沙龍更大。你要帶領你主的一些僕人追趕他，免得他得了堅固的城鎮，在我們眼前逃脫。」約押的人和基利提人、比利提人，以及所有的勇士都跟着亞比篩，從耶路撒冷出去追趕比基利的兒子示巴。他們到了基遍的大石頭那裏，亞瑪撒來迎接他們。那時約押穿着戰衣，腰束佩刀的帶子，刀在鞘內。約押前行時，刀從鞘內掉出來。

萬軍之耶和華如此說：在那些日子，列國中說各種語言的人，必有十個人強拉住一個猶大人衣服的邊，說：『我們要與你們同去，因為我們聽見神與你們同在了。』」

他要為自己立千夫長、五十夫長；耕種他的田地，收割他的莊稼；打造他的兵器和車上的器械。

惟有以色列人，所羅門不使他們作奴僕，而是作他的戰士、臣僕、官長、軍官、戰車長、騎兵長。

求你原諒使女的冒犯。耶和華必為我主建立堅固的家，因為我主為耶和華爭戰，並且你一生的日子查不出有甚麼惡來。雖有人起來追逼你，要尋索你的性命，我主的性命在耶和華－你的神那裏，如同藏在生命的寶藏中。至於你仇敵的性命，耶和華必甩去，如用機弦甩石一樣。

掃羅對左右侍立的臣僕說：「便雅憫人哪，聽着！耶西的兒子也能把田地和葡萄園賜給你們各人嗎？他能立你們各人作千夫長和百夫長嗎？

在瑣拉和以實陶之間的瑪哈尼‧但，耶和華的靈開始感動參孫。

從前掃羅作我們王的時候，率領以色列人出入的是你。耶和華也曾對你說：『你必牧養我的百姓以色列，你必作以色列的君王。』」

他穿上公義為鎧甲，戴上救恩為頭盔，穿上報復為衣服，披戴熱心為外袍。
