永恆主向烏撒發怒；上帝因他伸手將櫃扶住，就擊打他，他就在那裏死在上帝面前。

The Lord’s anger burned against Uzzah, and he struck him down because he had put his hand on the ark. So he died there before God.

Then the Lord became very angry with Uzzah. The Lord struck him down because he had put his hand on the ark. So Uzzah died there in front of God.

And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzzah, and he struck him down because he put out his hand to the ark, and he died there before God.

Then the Lord’s anger was aroused against Uzzah, and he struck him dead because he had laid his hand on the Ark. So Uzzah died there in the presence of God.

Then the LORD’s anger burned against Uzzah, and he struck him dead because he had reached out to the ark. So he died there in the presence of God.

But the anger of the Lord burned against Uzza, so He struck him because he had put out his hand toward the ark; and he died there before God.

Then the anger of the Lord was aroused against Uzza, and He struck him because he put his hand to the ark; and he died there before God.

And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put forth his hand to the ark; and there he died before God.

Then the Lord’s anger burned against Uzzah, and He struck him dead because he had reached out to the ark. So he died there in the presence of God.

The LORD was so furious with Uzzah, he killed him, because he reached out his hand and touched the ark. He died right there before God.

因為你們先前沒有這樣作過；永恆主我們的上帝便突擊了我們，因為我們沒有按規矩尋問他。』

利未子孫就抬上帝的櫃、照永恆主的話、按摩西所吩咐的、用肩膀使杠子來抬。

全營將要往前行的時候、亞倫和他的兒子們既把聖所和聖所的一切器具遮蓋完了之後，哥轄的子孫就要來抬，只是不可觸着聖物，免得死亡。會棚裏這些物件是哥轄子孫所應當抬的。

他既強盛，就心驕氣傲，以致行事腐敗，對永恆主他的上帝不忠實，進永恆主的殿堂、要在香壇上燒香。跟他進去的有祭司亞撒利雅，還有同亞撒利雅在一起的、永恆主的祭司八十個、有勇氣的人。他們阻擋烏西雅王，對他說：『烏西雅啊，向永恆主燒香並不是你應作的事，乃是亞倫子孫作祭司者的事啊；他們才是受聖職來燒香的。你出聖所吧！因為你行了僭妄事了；並且永恆主上帝也不使你得尊榮。』烏西雅就很生氣；他原有香爐在手裏要燒香；他一向祭司生氣的時候，就在永恆主殿中香壇旁邊祭司們面前、他額上就患起痲瘋屬之病來了。祭司長亞撒利雅和眾祭司正在觀看，只見他額上患起痲瘋屬之病來了！他們慌慌忙忙地推他離開那裏，他自己呢、也趕快出來，因為永恆主以災病擊打了他。

故此你們中間有許多軟弱的、患病的；長眠了的也有好些。但我們如果常察辨自己，就不至於受審判了。然而若受主審判，乃是受主懲罰管教，免得跟世人一同受定罪。

當下又有火從永恆主那裏出來，把那獻香的二百五十個人也燒滅了。

於是嫩的兒子約書亞把祭司們叫了來，對他們說：『你們抬起約櫃；要有七個祭司背着七個羊號角在永恆主的櫃前面。』

亞倫的兒子拿答、亞比戶拿着自己的香爐，盛上火，加上香，在永恆主面前獻平常的火、是永恆主沒有吩咐他們的。就有火從永恆主面前發出，燒滅他們，他們就死在永恆主面前。於是摩西對亞倫說：『這就是永恆主告訴我們說的：「在親近我的人中間、我要顯為聖；在各族之民面前、我要得榮耀。」』亞倫默默無言。

但是耶哥尼雅的兒子們看見永恆主的櫃時候不和伯示麥人一同歡樂，永恆主就擊殺了他們七十個人；因為永恆主大大擊殺了眾民，眾民就哀悼。
