The Lord’s anger burned against Uzzah, and he struck him down because he had put his hand on the ark. So he died there before God.

Then the Lord became very angry with Uzzah. The Lord struck him down because he had put his hand on the ark. So Uzzah died there in front of God.

And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Uzzah, and he struck him down because he put out his hand to the ark, and he died there before God.

Then the Lord’s anger was aroused against Uzzah, and he struck him dead because he had laid his hand on the Ark. So Uzzah died there in the presence of God.

因为你们上一次没有抬这约柜，并且我们没有按规矩求问耶和华—我们的神，所以他冲出来攻击我们。”

利未子孙用杠，把神的约柜抬在肩上，正如摩西按照耶和华的话所吩咐的。

“拔营的时候，亚伦和他儿子把圣所和圣所一切的器具盖好之后，哥辖的子孙才好来抬，免得他们摸圣物而死；这是哥辖子孙在会幕里所当抬的。

乌西雅既强盛，就心高气傲，以致败坏。他干犯耶和华—他的神，进耶和华的殿，要在香坛上烧香。亚撒利雅祭司率领八十名勇敢的耶和华的祭司，跟随他进去。他们阻止乌西雅王，对他说：“乌西雅啊，给耶和华烧香不是你的事，而是亚伦子孙的事，他们是分别为圣来烧香的祭司。你出圣殿吧！因为你犯了罪，耶和华神必不使你得尊荣。”乌西雅发怒，手拿香炉要烧香。他在耶和华殿中香坛旁向众祭司发怒的时候，他的额头在众祭司面前忽然长出麻风。亚撒利雅祭司长和众祭司转向他，看哪，他的额头长出麻风，就催他离开那里；他自己也急速出去，因为耶和华降灾于他。

因此，在你们中间有好些软弱的与患病的，长眠了的也不少。我们若是先省察自己，就不至于受审判。我们受审判的时候，就是被主管教，这样就免得和世人一同被定罪。

有火从耶和华那里出来，吞灭了那上香的二百五十人。

嫩的儿子约书亚召了祭司来，对他们说：“你们抬起约柜来，要有七个祭司拿七个羊角在耶和华的约柜前。”

亚伦的儿子拿答和亚比户各拿着自己的香炉，把火放在炉里，加上香，在耶和华面前献上凡火，是耶和华没有吩咐他们的。有火从耶和华面前出来，把他们吞灭，他们就死在耶和华面前。于是，摩西对亚伦说：“这就是耶和华所吩咐的，说：‘我在那亲近我的人中要显为圣；在全体百姓面前，我要得着荣耀。’”亚伦就默默不言。

耶和华击杀伯‧示麦人，因为他们观看他的约柜。他击杀了百姓七十人。百姓因耶和华大大击杀他们，就哀哭了。
