So David assembled all Israel, from the Shihor River in Egypt to Lebo Hamath, to bring the ark of God from Kiriath Jearim.

David gathered together all the Israelites. They came from the area between the Shihor River in Egypt and Lebo Hamath. They came to bring the ark of God from Kiriath Jearim to Jerusalem.

So David assembled all Israel from the Nile of Egypt to Lebo-hamath, to bring the ark of God from Kiriath-jearim.

當時以色列人自哈末至伊及溪、集成大會、所羅門率之在主我天主前、守節期七日、又七日、共十四日、

大衛招集以色列眾至耶路撒冷、欲請主之匱、至為其所備之所、

巴比倫王俱於哈末地之利比拉殺之、猶大民被擄而離故土、其事如此、○

其界自押們轉至伊及河、河或作溪出大海為極、西以大海為界、此即爾之西界、北界自大海起、轉至何珥山、自何珥山、至哈末、至西得達、為極北處、

大衛率以色列眾至巴拉、即屬猶大之基列耶琳、欲自彼將主天主之匱請之來、主居二基路伯間、於彼亦籲主之名、於彼亦籲主之名或作此匱乃以居基路伯間之主之名名者

所羅門統轄諸國、自伯拉河至非利士地、直至伊及界、所羅門在世之日、此諸國皆納貢服事之、

自伊及前之西曷河河或作溪以北、至以革倫界、悉屬迦南人之地、屬非利士五伯之地、即屬迦薩地、屬亞實突地、屬亞實基倫地、屬迦特地、又有亞衛人之地、又南方迦南全地、及屬西頓人之米亞拉、至亞弗、至亞摩利人之交界、又有迦巴勒人之地、東方利巴嫩全境、即自黑門山麓之巴力迦得、至哈末、山地居民、自利巴嫩至米斯利弗瑪音、一切西頓人、我必驅逐於以色列人前、惟爾當遵我所命爾者、鬮分其地、予以色列人為業、

爾今何為往伊及之路、欲飲西曷之水乎、爾何為往亞述之路、欲飲伯拉大河之水乎、
