当你听见桑树梢上响起脚步声时，就要进攻，因为那表示耶和华已在你前头去攻击非利士的军队了。”

你一听见桑林树梢上有脚步的声音，就要出战，因为神已经在你前面出去击杀非利士人的军队了。”

你聽見桑樹梢上有腳步的聲音，就要出戰，因為神已經在你前頭去攻打非利士人的軍隊。」

聞桑杪有步履之聲、則出戰、蓋上帝先爾而行、擊非利士軍旅、

如聞步履之聲、出於桑杪、則當速戰、蓋上帝已先爾而行、擊非利士人軍旅、

爾聞桑樹杪有步履聲、爾即出戰、因其時、天主已先爾而行、擊非利士人之軍旅、

As soon as you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the poplar trees, move out to battle, because that will mean God has gone out in front of you to strike the Philistine army.”

Listen for the sound of marching in the tops of the trees. Then move out to fight. The sound will mean that I have gone out in front of you. I will strike down the Philistine army.”

And when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then go out to battle, for God has gone out before you to strike down the army of the Philistines.”

When you hear a sound like marching feet in the tops of the poplar trees, go out and attack! That will be the signal that God is moving ahead of you to strike down the Philistine army.”

聽啊！山間有大眾喧嘩的聲音呢！好像許多眾民的嘈雜；聽啊！有列國喧鬧的響聲呢！有聚攏來的列邦之鬨嚷。萬軍之永恆主在點閱着軍隊，準備着赴戰。

驀然間有響聲從天上來、像猛烈的風颳着的響聲，充滿了他們所坐的整個屋子。

所以我親愛的，你們既時常聽從了，就該敬畏戰兢地作成你們自己的得救；不但像我和你們同在時那樣，就是如今我和你們不同在時、你們也更應當聽從；因為是上帝、為了成全他的美意而運用動力於你們身上，使你們也立志也力行的。

那一夜、永恆主對基甸說：『起來，下去攻營，因為我已把他們交在你手中。

底波拉對巴拉說：『你起來；今日是永恆主將西西拉交在你手的日子；永恆主不是在你前面出戰麼？』於是巴拉從他泊山下來；跟隨他的有一萬人。

看吧！我必使他靈機一動，就聽見風聲，而回他本地去；我必使他在他本地那裏倒在刀下。」』

他們若這樣對我們說：「你們且止住，等我們到你們接觸」，那麼、我們就在我們的地方站住，不上他們那裏去。他們若這樣說：「你們上我們這裏來吧！」那麼我們就上去；因為永恆主將他們交在我們手裏：這就是給了我們的兆頭。』二人就讓非利士人的駐防兵看見；非利士人說：『看哪，有希伯來人從他們所藏的窟窿洞裏出來呢。』駐防營的人應時對約拿單和拿軍器的護兵喊着說：『你們上我們這裏來吧！有一件事我們要給你們知道。』約拿單就對拿軍器的護兵說：『你跟着我上去，因為永恆主將他們交在以色列人手裏了。』約拿單手腳匐在地上地爬上去，拿軍器的護兵跟着他；非利士人在約拿單面前倒下去，拿軍器的護兵也隨着殺死他們。約拿單和拿軍器的護兵起頭所擊殺的、約有二十人，大概都在一對牛能耕之地的半段之內。於是在營中、在田野間、在眾民中、人都震顫發抖；駐防兵和遊擊兵呢、也都震顫發抖；地震動，顫抖之勢非常之大。在便雅憫境內、在迦巴、掃羅的守望兵在觀望着，只見非利士的蜂擁軍兵已經潰散，走來走去。掃羅就對跟隨他的兵說：『你們點閱點閱，看從我們這裏出去的是誰』；他們一點閱，就知道約拿單和拿軍器的護兵不在那裏。掃羅對亞希亞說：『將神諭像送來』；因為那一天是他在以色列人面前帶着神諭像。掃羅正和祭司說話的時候，非利士人營中的喧嚷越來越大了。掃羅就對祭司說：『停手吧。』掃羅和跟隨他的兵都聚集，到了戰場，就看見非利士人都用刀互相擊殺；其潰亂驚慌之狀大極了。那些素常歸倚着非利士人的希伯來人、同他們上營盤的這些人現在也轉過來，幫同那些跟從掃羅和約拿單的以色列人一起作戰了。那些藏在以法蓮山地的以色列眾人、聽說非利士人在逃跑，他們也就在戰場上緊緊追趕他們。

至於你們剩下的人呢、他們在仇敵之地時、我必使怯懦餒弱之氣進他們的心；飄蕩落葉的響聲也會追趕他們；他們必逃跑、像人逃避刀劍；沒有人追趕，他們也跌倒。

我永恆主所膏立的古列，我拉他的右手，使列國降服在他面前；列王的腰帶我必鬆開；我必使門戶在他面前敞開，使一切大門不得關閉：我永恆主對古列這麼說；『我必親自領導你，使道路平直；銅門我必打破，鐵閂我必砍斷；

基甸聽見那夢這樣的敘說和講解，就敬拜上帝，回到以色列營中，說：『起來，永恆主已把米甸營交在你們手中了。』

雅各家啊，我一定要聚集你們所有的人，我斷然要招聚以色列餘剩之民；我必將他們安置在一處、像羊在羊圈裏，像羊羣在草場上：都嘈嘈雜雜、充滿着人。那衝破缺口者必在他們前面上去；他們必衝破缺口、闖過城門，從城門出去；他們的王領他們在前面過去，永恆主引導他們在前頭行。

原來主早已使亞蘭人的軍兵聽見車聲馬聲和大軍的聲音；他們就彼此說：『啊，這必是以色列王雇了赫人諸王和慕斯利人諸王來攻擊我們的。』
