并且分给以色列众人，所有的百姓，无论男女，每人一个饼，一个枣子饼，一个葡萄饼。众人就各自回家去了。大卫回去要为家里的人祝福，扫罗的女儿米甲出来迎接他，说：“以色列王今日有好大的荣耀啊！他今日在臣仆的使女眼前露体，如同一个无赖赤身露体一样。”

若你们认为事奉耶和华不好，今日就可以选择所要事奉的：是你们列祖在大河那边所事奉的神明，或是你们所住这地亚摩利人的神明呢？至于我和我家，我们必定事奉耶和华。”

第八日，王遣散百姓；他们都为王祝福。他们为耶和华向他仆人大卫和他百姓以色列所施的一切恩惠都心中喜乐，愉快地各回自己的帐棚去了。

我拣选他，为要叫他命令他的子孙和后代家属遵行耶和华的道，秉公行义，使耶和华所应许亚伯拉罕的话都实现了。”

我要用智慧行完全的道。你几时到我这里来呢？我要以纯正的心行在我家中。
