Go and tell David my servant, Thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not build me an house to dwell in:

“你去告诉我仆人大卫，说耶和华如此说：‘你不可建造殿宇给我居住。

“你去对我仆人大卫说：‘耶和华如此说：你不可建造殿宇给我居住。

“你去对我仆人大卫说：‘耶和华如此说：你不可建造殿宇给我居住。

“你去告诉我的仆人大卫，‘耶和华说，你不是为我建造殿宇的人。’

“你去对我的仆人大卫说：‘耶和华这样说：你不可建殿给我居住。

「你去告訴我僕人大衛，說耶和華如此說：『你不可建造殿宇給我居住。

「你去對我僕人大衛說：『耶和華如此說：你不可建造殿宇給我居住。

「你去對我僕人大衛說：『耶和華如此說：你不可建造殿宇給我居住。

「你去告訴我的僕人大衛，『耶和華說，你不是為我建造殿宇的人。』

“你去對我的僕人大衛說：‘耶和華這樣說：你不可建殿給我居住。

『你去對我僕人大衛說：「永恆主這麼說：不是你可以建殿給我居住的。

往告我僕大衛曰、耶和華云、爾勿建室、為我居所、

往告我僕大闢、耶和華有言曰、爾勿建殿、為我居處。

爾往諭我僕大衛曰、主云、爾勿建殿、為我居處、

“ Go and tell my servant David,‘ This is what the Lord says: You are not the one to build me a house to dwell in.

“ Go and speak to my servant David. Tell him,‘ The Lord says,“ You are not the one who will build me a house to live in.

“ Go and tell my servant David,‘ Thus says the Lord: It is not you who will build me a house to dwell in.

“ Go and tell my servant David,‘ This is what the Lord has declared: You are not the one to build a house for me to live in.

“ Go to David my servant and say,‘ This is what the LORD says: You are not the one to build me a house to dwell in.

“ Go and tell David My servant,‘ This is what the Lord says:“ You shall not build a house for Me to dwell in;

“ Go and tell My servant David,‘ Thus says the Lord:“ You shall not build Me a house to dwell in.

Go and tell David my servant, Thus saith Jehovah, Thou shalt not build me a house to dwell in:

“ Go to David My servant and say,‘ This is what the Lord says: You are not the one to build Me a house to dwell in.

“ Go, tell my servant David:‘ This is what the LORD says:“ You must not build me a house in which to live.

“ Go and tell David my servant,‘ Yahweh says,“ You shall not build me a house to dwell in;

Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people:[ As for me], I[ had] in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building:But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build an house for my name, because thou[ hast been] a man of war, and hast shed blood.

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable[ are] his judgments, and his ways past finding out!For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?

For my thoughts[ are] not your thoughts, neither[ are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD.For[ as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

And it came to pass that night, that the word of the LORD came unto Nathan, saying,Go and tell my servant David, Thus saith the LORD, Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in?

But the LORD said to David my father, Forasmuch as it was in thine heart to build an house for my name, thou didst well in that it was in thine heart:Notwithstanding thou shalt not build the house; but thy son which shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house for my name.

Nevertheless thou shalt not build the house; but thy son that shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house unto my name.

And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God:But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight.
