于是大卫对约押和民众的领袖说：“你们去数点以色列人，从别是巴直到但，然后回来见我，让我知道他们的数目。”

大衛就吩咐約押和民中的首領說：「你們去數點以色列人，從別是巴直到但，回來告訴我，我好知道他們的數目。」

於是大衛對約押和眾民的首領說：『你們去數點以色列人、從別是巴直到但，把結果帶來給我，我好知道他們的數目。』

大衛諭約押及民長曰、往核以色列人、自別是巴至但、返而告我、使我知其數、

大闢告約押、與民長曰、往核以色列民數、自但至別是巴、反而告我。

大衛遂諭約押與民長曰、爾曹往核以色列人之數、自別是巴至但、歸而告我、使我知其數、

So David said to Joab and the commanders of the troops,“ Go and count the Israelites from Beersheba to Dan. Then report back to me so that I may know how many there are.”

So David said to Joab and the commanders of the troops,“ Go! Count the men of Israel from Beersheba all the way to Dan. Report back to me. Then I’ll know how many there are.”

So David said to Joab and the commanders of the army,“ Go, number Israel, from Beersheba to Dan, and bring me a report, that I may know their number.”

So David said to Joab and the commanders of the army,“ Take a census of all the people of Israel— from Beersheba in the south to Dan in the north— and bring me a report so I may know how many there are.”

So David said to Joab and the commanders of the troops,“ Go and count Israel from Beer-sheba to Dan and bring a report to me so I can know their number.”

So David said to Joab and to the leaders of the people,“ Go, count Israel from Beersheba to Dan, and bring me word so that I may know their number.”

So David said to Joab and to the leaders of the people,“ Go, number Israel from Beersheba to Dan, and bring the number of them to me that I may know it.”

And David said to Joab and to the princes of the people, Go, number Israel from Beer- sheba even to Dan; and bring me word, that I may know the sum of them.

So David said to Joab and the commanders of the troops,“ Go and count Israel from Beer-sheba to Dan and bring a report to me so I can know their number.”

And David said to Joab and to the rulers of the people, Go, number Israel from Beersheba even to Dan; and bring the number of them to me, that I may know[ it].

David told Joab and the leaders of the army,“ Go, count the number of warriors from Beer Sheba to Dan. Then bring back a report to me so I may know how many we have.”

David said to Joab and to the princes of the people,“ Go, count Israel from Beersheba even to Dan; and bring me word, that I may know how many there are.”

以色列人二十岁以下的，大卫没有记其数目；因耶和华曾应许，必加增以色列人如天上的星那样多。洗鲁雅的儿子约押开始数点，却还没有数完。为了这事，烈怒临到以色列，数点的数目也没有写在《大卫王记》上。

于是，耶和华降瘟疫给以色列。自早晨到所定的时候，从但直到别是巴，百姓中死了七万人。

人的高傲使自己蒙羞；心里谦逊的，必得尊荣。

从但到别是巴，所有的以色列人都知道耶和华立撒母耳为先知。

你的牛羊增多，你的金银增多，你拥有的一切全都增多，于是你的心高傲，忘记耶和华—你的神。他曾将你从埃及地为奴之家领出来，曾引领你经过那大而可怕的旷野，有火蛇、蝎子、干旱无水之地。他也曾为你使水从坚硬的磐石中流出来，又在旷野将你列祖所不认识的吗哪赐给你吃，为要磨炼你，考验你，终久使你享福。你心里说：‘这财富是我的力量、我手的能力得来的。’

于是以色列众人从但到别是巴，以及从基列地出来，如同一人，聚集在米斯巴耶和华那里。

于是他们下令，通告全以色列，从别是巴直到但，吩咐百姓都来，在耶路撒冷向耶和华—以色列的神守逾越节，因为他们已经许久没有照所写的守这节了。

依我之计，要把如同海边的沙那样多的以色列众人，从但直到别是巴，聚集到你这里来，由你亲自率领他们出战。

大卫对跟随他的约押元帅说：“你来回走遍以色列众支派，从但直到别是巴，数点百姓，我好知道百姓的数目。”约押对王说：“愿耶和华—你的神使百姓的数目增加百倍，使我主我王亲眼得见。我主我王何必要做这事呢？”但王坚持他对约押和众军官的命令。约押和众军官就从王面前出去，数点以色列的百姓。

所罗门在世的日子，从但到别是巴，犹大和以色列各人都在自己的葡萄树下和无花果树下安然居住。

又恐怕我因所得的启示太高深，就过于高抬自己，所以有一根刺加在我身上，就是撒但的差役来折磨我，免得我过于高抬自己。

废去扫罗家的国度，建立大卫的王位，使他治理以色列和犹大，从但直到别是巴。”

希西家却没有照他所蒙的恩回报，因他心里骄傲，所以愤怒要临到他，临到犹大和耶路撒冷。但希西家和耶路撒冷的居民为了心里骄傲，就一同谦卑，以致耶和华的愤怒在希西家的日子没有临到他们。
