Then David said,“ This is the house of Yahweh God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”

大卫吩咐人召集住在以色列地的外族人，又派石匠开凿石头，要建造神的殿。

大衛說：「這就是耶和華神的殿，為以色列人獻燔祭的壇。」

大衛說：「耶和華上帝的殿和以色列人獻燔祭的壇要在這裡。」

大衛吩咐人召集住在以色列地的外族人，又派石匠開鑿石頭，要建造神的殿。

大衛吩咐了人招聚以色列地的寄居者，又派立了石匠鑿石頭、砍削好好，要建造上帝的殿。

大衛曰、此乃耶和華上帝之室、以色列燔祭之壇、○

大闢曰、耶和華上帝之殿、以色列族燔祭之壇、宜建於此。

大衛曰、此主天主之殿、此以色列人獻火焚祭之祭臺、或作主天主之殿以色列人獻火焚祭之祭臺俱當在此○

Then David said,“ The house of the Lord God is to be here, and also the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”

David announced,“ The house of the Lord God will be built here. Israel’s altar for burnt offerings will also be here.”

Then David said,“ Here shall be the house of the Lord God and here the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”

Then David said,“ This will be the location for the Temple of the Lord God and the place of the altar for Israel’s burnt offerings!”

Then David said,“ This is the house of the LORD God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”

Then David said,“ This is the house of the Lord God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”

Then David said,“ This is the house of the Lord God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”

Then David said, This is the house of Jehovah God, and this is the altar of burnt- offering for Israel.

Then David said,“ This is the house of the Lord God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”

Then David said, This[ is] the house of the LORD God, and this[ is] the altar of the burnt offering for Israel.

David then said,“ This is the place where the temple of the LORD God will be, along with the altar for burnt sacrifices for Israel.”

Then Solomon began to build Yahweh’s house at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where Yahweh appeared to David his father, which he prepared in the place that David had appointed, on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

Then Yahweh’s angel commanded Gad to tell David that David should go up and raise an altar to Yahweh on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.David went up at the saying of Gad, which he spoke in Yahweh’s name.Ornan turned back, and saw the angel; and his four sons who were with him hid themselves. Now Ornan was threshing wheat.As David came to Ornan, Ornan looked and saw David, and went out of the threshing floor, and bowed himself to David with his face to the ground.Then David said to Ornan,“ Give me the place of this threshing floor, that I may build an altar to Yahweh on it. You shall sell it to me for the full price, that the plague may be stopped from afflicting the people.”Ornan said to David,“ Take it for yourself, and let my lord the king do that which is good in his eyes. Behold, I give the oxen for burnt offerings, and the threshing instruments for wood, and the wheat for the meal offering. I give it all.”King David said to Ornan,“ No; but I will most certainly buy it for the full price. For I will not take that which is yours for Yahweh, nor offer a burnt offering that costs me nothing.”So David gave to Ornan six hundred shekels of gold by weight for the place.David built an altar to Yahweh there, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and called on Yahweh; and he answered him from the sky by fire on the altar of burnt offering.Then Yahweh commanded the angel, and he put his sword back into its sheath.At that time, when David saw that Yahweh had answered him in the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite, then he sacrificed there.

He was afraid, and said,“ How awesome this place is! This is none other than God’s house, and this is the gate of heaven.”

But if you tell me,‘ We trust in Yahweh our God;’ isn’t that he whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has taken away, and has said to Judah and to Jerusalem,‘ You shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem?’

For Yahweh has chosen Zion. He has desired it for his habitation.“ This is my resting place forever. I will live here, for I have desired it.

Hasn’t the same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying,‘ You shall worship before one altar, and you shall burn incense on it?’

so that he abandoned the tent of Shiloh, the tent which he placed among men,

Gad came that day to David, and said to him,“ Go up, build an altar to Yahweh on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite.”

‘ Since the day that I brought my people out of the land of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house in, that my name might be there and I chose no man to be prince over my people Israel;but now I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.’

Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.”Jesus said to her,“ Woman, believe me, the hour comes, when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, will you worship the Father.You worship that which you don’t know. We worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews.

But to the place which Yahweh your God shall choose out of all your tribes, to put his name there, you shall seek his habitation, and you shall come there.You shall bring your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the wave offering of your hand, your vows, your free will offerings, and the firstborn of your herd and of your flock there.There you shall eat before Yahweh your God, and you shall rejoice in all that you put your hand to, you and your households, in which Yahweh your God has blessed you.

Moreover he rejected the tent of Joseph, and didn’t choose the tribe of Ephraim,But chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion which he loved.He built his sanctuary like the heights, like the earth which he has established forever.

then it shall happen that to the place which Yahweh your God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there, there you shall bring all that I command you: your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the wave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which you vow to Yahweh.
