他们又将银子给石匠、木匠，把粮食、酒、油给西顿人、推罗人，使他们将香柏树从黎巴嫩运到海里，浮海运到约帕，是照波斯王居鲁士所允准的。

建殿是用山中凿成的石头。建殿的时候，锤子、斧子，和别样铁器的响声都没有听见。

这样，你们不再作外人和客旅，是与圣徒同国，是神家里的人了；并且被建造在使徒和先知的根基上，有基督耶稣自己为房角石，各房靠他联络得合式，渐渐成为主的圣殿。你们也靠他同被建造，成为神藉着圣灵居住的所在。

那时，外人必起来牧放你们的羊群；外邦人必作你们耕种田地的，修理葡萄园的。你们倒要称为耶和华的祭司；人必称你们为我们神的仆役。你们必吃用列国的财物，因得他们的荣耀自夸。

至于国中所剩下不属以色列人的赫人、亚摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，就是以色列人未曾灭绝的，所罗门挑取他们的后裔作服苦的奴仆，直到今日。

建造这一切所用的石头都是宝贵的，是按着尺寸凿成的，是用锯里外锯齐的；从根基直到檐石，从外头直到大院，都是如此。根基是宝贵的大石头，有长十肘的，有长八肘的；上面有香柏木和按着尺寸凿成宝贵的石头。大院周围有凿成的石头三层、香柏木一层，都照耶和华殿的内院和殿廊的样式。
