他們又將銀子給了鑿石人和匠人，把食物、飲料、和油給了西頓人推羅人，叫他們將香柏木從利巴嫩運到海裏、到約帕來，照波斯王古列所准給他們運的。

殿建造的時候、是用石山上琢好了的整塊石頭；因此當殿建造的時候、槌子、斧子，或任何鐵器的響聲都沒有聽見。

這樣，你們就不再是外人或僑民了，乃是聖徒同國之民，是上帝一家的人。被建造在使徒和神言傳講師的根基上，基督耶穌自己就是房角石。靠着他、各部建築都互相聯接，漸漸高大，成為在主裏的聖殿堂。靠着他、你們也一同被建造、成為上帝以靈居住的所在。

那時外族人必伺候你們，牧放你們的羊羣，外邦人必為你們耕種田地、整理葡萄園；你們呢、倒要稱為永恆主的祭司；人必稱你們為伺候我們的上帝的；你們必喫用列國的資財，必因得到他們的財寶而矜誇。

至於所剩下的眾民、屬於赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人、而不是屬於以色列的——他們的子孫於他們過往之後在此地剩下來、以色列人未曾滅盡的——這些人、所羅門都徵派下來、充作苦工；直到今日還是如此。

建造這一切所用的都是寶貴的石頭，按尺寸砍削好了的，用鋸子裏外鋸齊的，從根基直到覆蓋，從永恆主之殿院直到大院、都是如此。都用寶貴石頭大塊的石頭作根基：有長十肘的石頭，有長八肘的石頭。上面有按尺寸砍削好了的寶貴石頭，也有香柏木。大院四圍有砍削好了的石頭三層、修好的香柏梁木一層，都照永恆主之殿的內院和王宮門廊的樣式。
