大卫说：“我儿子所罗门还年幼娇嫩，要为耶和华建造的殿宇必须高大辉煌，使名誉荣耀传遍万国；所以我要为殿预备材料。”于是，大卫在未死之先预备的材料甚多。

大衛曰、我子所羅門尚幼弱、為主所將建之殿、必高大莊嚴、使聲名傳揚萬國、我當為之預備、於是大衛未死之先、廣備材物、

David said,“ My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house to be built for the Lord should be of great magnificence and fame and splendor in the sight of all the nations. Therefore I will make preparations for it.” So David made extensive preparations before his death.

David said,“ My son Solomon is young. He’s never done anything like this before. The house that will be built for the Lord should be very grand and wonderful. All the nations should consider it to be famous and beautiful. I’ll get things ready for it.” So David got many things ready before he died.

For David said,“ Solomon my son is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for the Lord must be exceedingly magnificent, of fame and glory throughout all lands. I will therefore make preparation for it.” So David provided materials in great quantity before his death.

David said,“ My son Solomon is still young and inexperienced. And since the Temple to be built for the Lord must be a magnificent structure, famous and glorious throughout the world, I will begin making preparations for it now.” So David collected vast amounts of building materials before his death.

David said,“ My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for the LORD must be exceedingly great and famous and glorious in all the lands. Therefore, I will make provision for it.” So David made lavish preparations for it before his death.

David said,“ My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for the Lord shall be exceedingly magnificent, famous, and glorious throughout the lands. Therefore I now will make preparations for it.” So David made ample preparations before his death.

Now David said,“ Solomon my son is young and inexperienced, and the house to be built for the Lord must be exceedingly magnificent, famous and glorious throughout all countries. I will now make preparation for it.” So David made abundant preparations before his death.

And David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be builded for Jehovah must be exceeding magnificent, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.

David said,“ My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house that is to be built for the Lord must be exceedingly great and famous and glorious in all the lands. Therefore, I must make provision for it.” So David made lavish preparations for it before his death.

And David said, Solomon my son[ is] young and tender, and the house[ that is] to be builded for the LORD[ must be] exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will[ therefore] now make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.

David said,“ My son Solomon is just an inexperienced young man, and the temple to be built for the LORD must be especially magnificent so it will become famous and be considered splendid by all the nations. Therefore I will make preparations for its construction.” So David made extensive preparations before he died.

David said,“ Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be built for Yahweh must be exceedingly magnificent, of fame and of glory throughout all countries. I will therefore make preparation for it.” So David prepared abundantly before his death.

大卫王又对全体会众说：“我儿所罗门是上帝特别拣选的，但他还年轻，缺乏经验。建殿的工程浩大，因为这殿不是为人造的，乃是为耶和华上帝造的。

我的上帝耶和华啊，你让仆人继承我父亲大卫的王位，但仆人还年幼无知，不懂得如何治理国家。

许多曾见过旧殿的年长的祭司、利未人和族长看见这殿的根基，不禁放声大哭，也有很多人高声欢呼。

有些人正在谈论由精美的石头和珍贵的供物所装饰的圣殿，

召集一群无赖恶棍，与所罗门的儿子罗波安作对。那时，罗波安年轻怯懦，无力抵抗。

他们以华美的饰物为骄傲，并用它制造丑恶可憎的神像，因此，我必使这一切变成他们眼中的污秽之物。

逾越节之前，耶稣知道自己快要离开世界回到父那里了。祂一直爱世上属自己的人，并且爱他们到底。

我们那圣洁、华美的殿——我们祖先颂赞你的地方已被焚毁，我们珍爱的一切都被摧毁。

我觉得应当趁着我还在世的时候提醒你们，激励你们，因我知道自己离世的日子已经不远了，正如我们的主耶稣基督指示我的。我要尽力使你们在我离世以后仍然常常记得这些事。

万军之耶和华说，我要使这殿比从前更加荣耀。万军之耶和华说，我要在这地方赐下平安。’”

趁着白天，我们必须做差我来者的工作，黑夜一到，就没有人能工作了。

这殿虽然宏伟，但将来经过的人必惊讶，讥笑说，‘耶和华为什么这样对待这地方和这殿呢？’

祂必兴旺，我必衰微。

“我已经一百二十岁了，无法再继续带领你们，耶和华曾说我不得过约旦河。你们的上帝耶和华要亲自带领你们过河，在你们面前消灭那里的各族，使你们占领他们的土地。约书亚将做你们的首领，正如耶和华所言。耶和华要毁灭那里的各族，像毁灭亚摩利二王西宏和噩及其国家一样。耶和华要把他们交给你们，你们要照我的一切吩咐处置他们。你们要刚强勇敢，不要怕他们，因为你们的上帝耶和华与你们同在，祂不会撇下你们，也不会离弃你们。”摩西把约书亚叫来，当着全体以色列人的面对他说：“你要刚强勇敢！因为你要带领百姓进入耶和华起誓赐给他们祖先的土地，把土地分给他们。

俗语说得好，‘那人撒种，这人收割。’我派你们去收割那些你们没有劳作的庄稼，别人劳苦，你们享受他们劳苦的成果。”

这殿虽然宏伟，但将来经过的人必惊讶地问，‘耶和华为什么这样对待这地方和这殿呢？’

我要建造的殿宇极其宏伟，因为我们的上帝超越一切神明。

‘你们当中有谁见过这殿昔日的荣耀呢？现在你们看这殿如何？看上去岂不是一文不值吗？

凡你的手能做的，都要尽力去做，因为在你要去的阴间没有工作，没有计划，也没有知识和智慧。
