因为以利亚撒的子孙中和以他玛的子孙中都有人在圣所做首领事奉上帝，他们便用抽签的方法公平地分班，分别在以利亚撒和以他玛家族中抽签。

They divided them impartially by casting lots, for there were officials of the sanctuary and officials of God among the descendants of both Eleazar and Ithamar.

The priests were separated into their groups by casting lots. That was the fair way to do it. The priests were officials of the temple and officials of God. They came from the family lines of Eleazar and Ithamar.

They divided them by lot, all alike, for there were sacred officers and officers of God among both the sons of Eleazar and the sons of Ithamar.

圣殿护卫长和祭司长听后，都很困扰，不知道是怎么回事。

他的众官员也自愿为民众、祭司和利未人捐献。管理上帝殿的希勒迦、撒迦利亚和耶歇献出两千六百只羊羔和三百头牛，给祭司做逾越节的祭牲。

彼得和约翰向百姓讲道的时候，祭司、圣殿护卫长和撒都该人赶来了。

到了清晨，众祭司长和民间的长老商定要处死耶稣。

约书亚便在示罗按照以色列的支派，在耶和华面前为他们抽签分地。

后来，船上的人彼此商量说：“来，我们抽签，看看这场灾难是谁惹来的。”于是他们就抽签，结果抽中了约拿。

还有管理上帝殿的亚萨利雅。亚萨利雅是希勒迦的儿子，希勒迦是米书兰的儿子，米书兰是撒督的儿子，撒督是米拉约的儿子，米拉约是亚希突的儿子。

以及管理上帝殿的希勒迦的儿子西莱雅。希勒迦是米书兰的儿子，米书兰是撒督的儿子，撒督是米拉约的儿子，米拉约是亚希突的儿子；

那时，祭司长和民间的长老正聚集在大祭司该亚法的府里，

大祭司亚那，以及该亚法、约翰、亚历山大和大祭司的许多亲族都在场。

人可以摇签求问，但耶和华决定一切。
