从以色列人那一半中，无论是人、牛、驴、羊群，或是各样牲畜，都要抽出五十分之一，交给负责看守耶和华帐幕的利未人。”于是，摩西和以利亚撒祭司照着耶和华吩咐摩西的行了。掠得的东西，就是打仗的人所掳掠剩下来的，共有羊六十七万五千只，牛七万二千头，驴六万一千头，没有与男人发生过关系的妇人三万二千人。出去打仗的人的分，就是他们所得的那一半，羊共有三十三万七千五百只；这些羊群中，归耶和华作贡物的，有六百七十五只。牛三万六千头，归耶和华为贡物的，有七十二只。驴三万零五百头，归耶和华为贡物的有六十一匹。人口一万六千，归给耶和华作贡物的，有三十二人。摩西照着耶和华吩咐他的，把贡物，就是耶和华的举祭，交给以利亚撒祭司。以色列人所得的那一半，就是摩西从打仗的人取来分给他们的（属于会众的那一半，有羊三十三万七千五百只，牛三万六千头，驴三万零五百头，人口一万六千）；摩西照着耶和华吩咐他的，从属于以色列人的那一半，无论是人口或是牲畜，都抽出五十分之一，交给负责看守耶和华帐幕的利未人。统领万军的军长、千夫长和百夫长，都来见摩西，对摩西说：“你仆人手下作战的士兵，已经计算总数，没有缺少一人。现在我们把耶和华的供物，都送来了，就是我们各人所得的金器、脚链子、镯子、打印戒指、耳环、手钏，好在耶和华面前，为我们自己赎罪。”摩西和以利亚撒祭司就收了他们的金子，就是各样金子做成的器皿。千夫长和百夫长献给耶和华为举祭的一切金子，共有两百多公斤。

大卫王把这些器皿，连同从各国夺取的金银，就是从以东、摩押、亚扪人、非利士人和亚玛力人夺取的，都分别为圣献给耶和华。

我为我神的殿已经尽了我的力量，预备了金子做金器，银子做银器，铜做铜器，铁做铁器，木做木器；还有红玛瑙、用作镶嵌的宝石、彩石和各样的宝石，以及很多大理石。不但这样，因我爱慕我神的殿，就在我为建造圣殿预备的一切以外，又把我自己积蓄的金银献给我神的殿：就是俄斐金一百多公吨，精炼的银子约两百四十公吨，用来贴殿里的墙壁；金子做金器，银子做银器，以及匠人手所作的各样巧工。今日有谁愿意奉献给耶和华呢？”于是各家族的领袖、以色列各支派的领袖、千夫长、百夫长和管理王的事务的领袖，都乐意奉献。为了神殿里的需用，他们奉献了金子一百七十多公吨，银子三百四十多公吨，铜约六百二十公吨和铁三千四百公吨。有宝石的，都交到耶和华殿这库房，由革顺人耶歇经办。人民因这些人自愿奉献而欢喜，因为他们一心乐意奉献给耶和华，大卫王也非常欢喜。

此外，你也有很多匠人：凿石的人、石匠、木匠和能作各样工作的巧手工人，
