这二祭司对待百姓的规矩是这样：凡有人献祭，正煮肉的时候，祭司的仆人就手拿三齿的叉子来，将叉子往盆里，或锅里，或釜里，或壶里一插，插上来的肉，祭司都拿了去。他们对所有上到示罗的以色列人都这样做。

所罗门又为耶和华的殿造了各样的器皿：金坛和献供饼的金供桌；内殿前的纯金灯台，右边五个，左边五个，以及其上的花、灯盏、灯剪，都是金的；纯金的杯、钳子、盘子、勺子、火盆，以及圣殿的最里面，就是至圣所的门枢和外殿的门枢，都是金的。

他的供物是：一个重一百三十舍客勒的银盘，一个重七十舍客勒的银碗，都是按照圣所的舍客勒，里面盛满了调油的细面作素祭；一个重十舍客勒的金碟子，盛满了香；

所罗门王一切的饮器都是金的，黎巴嫩林宫里所有的器皿都是纯金的。在所罗门的日子，银子算不了什么。

纯金的灯台和灯盏，可以照定例点在内殿前；灯台上的花和灯盏，以及灯剪，都是金的，而且是纯金的；纯金的钳子、盘子、勺子、火盆。至于殿门和至圣所的门扇，以及殿的门扇，都是金的。
