He said to me,‘ Your son Solomon will build my Temple and its courtyards, for I have chosen him as my son, and I will be his father.

耶和华对我说：‘你儿子所罗门必建造我的殿和院宇；因为我拣选他作我的子，我也必作他的父。

耶和华对我说：‘你儿子所罗门必建造我的殿和院宇，因为我拣选他作我的子，我也必作他的父。

耶和华对我说：‘你儿子所罗门必建造我的殿和院宇，因为我拣选他作我的子，我也必作他的父。

耶和华对我说，‘你儿子所罗门必建造我的殿宇和庭院，因为我拣选他做我的儿子，我也必做他的父亲。

耶和华对我说：‘你的儿子所罗门要建造我的殿宇和庭院；因为我已经拣选他作我的儿子，我也要作他的父亲。

耶和華對我說：『你兒子所羅門必建造我的殿和院宇；因為我揀選他作我的子，我也必作他的父。

耶和華對我說：『你兒子所羅門必建造我的殿和院宇，因為我揀選他作我的子，我也必作他的父。

耶和華對我說：『你兒子所羅門必建造我的殿和院宇，因為我揀選他作我的子，我也必作他的父。

耶和華對我說，『你兒子所羅門必建造我的殿宇和庭院，因為我揀選他做我的兒子，我也必做他的父親。

耶和華對我說：‘你的兒子所羅門要建造我的殿宇和庭院；因為我已經揀選他作我的兒子，我也要作他的父親。

永恆主對我說：「是你兒子所羅門、他要建造我的殿、我的院子；因為我是揀選了他做我的兒子；是我要做他的父。

且諭我曰、爾子所羅門將建我室及院、蓋我簡之為我子、我將為其父、

諭我曰、爾子所羅門、將建我殿我院、蓋我簡彼為子、我將為其父。

主諭我曰、爾子所羅門、將建我殿及我院宇、蓋我選之為我子、我將為其父、

He said to me:‘ Solomon your son is the one who will build my house and my courts, for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.

The Lord said to me,‘ Your son Solomon is the one who will build my house and my courtyards. I have chosen him to be my son. And I will be his father.

He said to me,‘ It is Solomon your son who shall build my house and my courts, for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.

He said to me,‘ Your son Solomon is the one who is to build my house and my courts, for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.

He said to me,‘ Your son Solomon is the one who shall build My house and My courtyards; for I have chosen him to be a son to Me, and I will be a Father to him.

Now He said to me,‘ It is your son Solomon who shall build My house and My courts; for I have chosen him to be My son, and I will be his Father.

And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts; for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.

He said to me,‘ Your son Solomon is the one who is to build My house and My courts, for I have chosen him to be My son, and I will be his father.

And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I have chosen him[ to be] my son, and I will be his father.

He said to me,‘ Solomon your son is the one who will build my temple and my courts, for I have chosen him to become my son and I will become his father.

He said to me,‘ Solomon, your son, shall build my house and my courts; for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.

He is the one who will build a house— a temple— for my name. And I will secure his royal throne forever.I will be his father, and he will be my son. If he sins, I will correct and discipline him with the rod, like any father would do.

But you will have a son who will be a man of peace. I will give him peace with his enemies in all the surrounding lands. His name will be Solomon, and I will give peace and quiet to Israel during his reign.He is the one who will build a Temple to honor my name. He will be my son, and I will be his father. And I will secure the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.’

Tell him,‘ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Here is the man called the Branch. He will branch out from where he is and build the Temple of the Lord.Yes, he will build the Temple of the Lord. Then he will receive royal honor and will rule as king from his throne. He will also serve as priest from his throne, and there will be perfect harmony between his two roles.’

O Lord God, please continue to keep your promise to David my father, for you have made me king over a people as numerous as the dust of the earth!

For when you die and join your ancestors, I will raise up one of your descendants, one of your sons, and I will make his kingdom strong.He is the one who will build a house— a temple— for me. And I will secure his throne forever.I will be his father, and he will be my son. I will never take my favor from him as I took it from the one who ruled before you.I will confirm him as king over my house and my kingdom for all time, and his throne will be secure forever.’”

But Christ, as the Son, is in charge of God’s entire house. And we are God’s house, if we keep our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ.

But Jesus deserves far more glory than Moses, just as a person who builds a house deserves more praise than the house itself.

But in the other passage God said,“ They will never enter my place of rest.”
