是日於耶和華前、式飲式食、喜樂不勝、復立大衛子所羅門為王、膏之歸耶和華為君、亦膏撒督為祭司、

在耶和華前、式飲式食、欣喜懽忭、以大闢子所羅門再立為王、奉耶和華命、沐之以膏、俾作民主、以撒督為祭司長、

眾於是日、皆大喜樂、式食式飲於主前、以大衛子所羅門再立為王、膏之於主前為君、又膏撒督為大祭司、

They ate and drank with great joy in the presence of the Lord that day. Then they acknowledged Solomon son of David as king a second time, anointing him before the Lord to be ruler and Zadok to be priest.

They ate and drank with great joy that day. They did it in front of the Lord. Then they announced a second time that Solomon was king. He was the son of David. They anointed Solomon in front of the Lord. They anointed him to be ruler. They also anointed Zadok to be priest.

And they ate and drank before the Lord on that day with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and they anointed him as prince for the Lord, and Zadok as priest.

They feasted and drank in the Lord’s presence with great joy that day. And again they crowned David’s son Solomon as their new king. They anointed him before the Lord as their leader, and they anointed Zadok as priest.

They ate and drank with great joy in the LORD’s presence that day. Then, for a second time, they made David’s son Solomon king; they anointed him as the LORD’s ruler, and Zadok as the priest.

大衛年紀老邁，日子滿足，就立他兒子所羅門作以色列的王。

王就立耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅作元帥，代替約押，又使祭司撒督代替亞比亞他。

在那裏，祭司撒督和先知拿單要膏他作以色列的王；你們也要吹角，說：『願所羅門王萬歲！』然後要跟隨他上來，使他坐在我的位上，接續我作王。我已立他作以色列和猶大的君。」耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅對王說：「阿們！願耶和華－我主我王的神也這樣命定。耶和華怎樣與我主我王同在，願他照樣與所羅門同在，使他的國位比我主大衛王的國位更大。」於是，祭司撒督、先知拿單、耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅，和基利提人、比利提人都下去使所羅門騎大衛王的騾子，將他送到基訓。祭司撒督就從帳幕中取了盛膏油的角來，用膏膏所羅門。人就吹角，眾民都說：「願所羅門王萬歲！」

你只管去歡歡喜喜吃你的飯，心中快樂喝你的酒，因為神已經悅納你的作為。

在那裏，耶和華－你們神的面前，你們和你們的家屬都可以吃，並且因你手所辦的一切事蒙耶和華－你的神賜福，就都歡樂。

於是，拔示巴臉伏於地，向王下拜，說：「願我主大衛王萬歲！」

我知道世人，莫強如終身喜樂行善；並且人人吃喝，在他一切勞碌中享福，這也是神的恩賜。

那時要將我所吩咐你們的燔祭、平安祭、十分取一之物，和手中的舉祭，並向耶和華許願獻的一切美祭，都奉到耶和華－你們神所選擇要立為他名的居所。你們和兒女、僕婢，並住在你們城裏無分無業的利未人，都要在耶和華－你們的神面前歡樂。

你要囑咐那些今世富足的人，不要自高，也不要倚靠無定的錢財；只要倚靠那厚賜百物給我們享受的神。又要囑咐他們行善，在好事上富足，甘心施捨，樂意供給人，

我就稱讚快樂，原來人在日光之下，莫強如吃喝快樂；因為他在日光之下，神賜他一生的年日，要從勞碌中，時常享受所得的。

守節的時候，你和你兒女、僕婢，並住在你城裏的利未人，以及寄居的與孤兒寡婦，都要歡樂。在耶和華所選擇的地方，你當向耶和華－你的神守節七日；因為耶和華－你神在你一切的土產上和你手裏所辦的事上要賜福與你，你就非常地歡樂。你一切的男丁要在除酵節、七七節、住棚節，一年三次，在耶和華－你神所選擇的地方朝見他，卻不可空手朝見。各人要按自己的力量，照耶和華－你神所賜的福分，奉獻禮物。」

眾民都去吃喝，也分給人，大大快樂，因為他們明白所教訓他們的話。

七月二十三日，王遣散眾民；他們因見耶和華向大衛和所羅門與他民以色列所施的恩惠，就都心中喜樂，各歸各家去了。

他的手不加害在以色列的尊者身上。他們觀看神；他們又吃又喝。

人莫強如吃喝，且在勞碌中享福，我看這也是出於神的手。
