因為你們吃的時候，每個人都爭先吃自己的晚餐，甚至有人餓著，有人醉了。

因为吃的时候，各人先吃自己的饭，甚至这个饥饿，那个酒醉。

各謀先食、饑者有之、飽者有之、

因食之時、各爭先取己餐而食、於是饑者有之、醉者亦有之、

蓋每人各先食其自備之餐；於是不獲一飽者有之、而縱飲無度者亦有之。

for when you are eating, some of you go ahead with your own private suppers. As a result, one person remains hungry and another gets drunk.

As you eat, some of you go ahead and eat your own private meals. Because of this, one person stays hungry and another gets drunk.

這些人在你們的愛筵中是汙點，與你們一起吃喝也無所懼怕；他們只牧養自己；他們是無水的雲，隨風飄蕩；是深秋不結果子的樹，死了又死，被連根拔起；

他們行不義，就得不義的酬報；他們把白晝的放蕩看做是享樂；他們是汙漬和瑕疵；他們與你們一起吃喝的時候，以自己的詭詐為樂；

我們所祝謝的福杯，難道不是在基督之血裡的一種契合嗎？我們所掰的餅，難道不是在基督身體裡的一種契合嗎？這是因為餅只有一個，而我們這許多人是一個身體——就是說，我們全都共享這一個餅。你們看世上的以色列人吧，難道那些吃祭物的人不是與祭壇有份的人嗎？

我當時傳授給你們的是我從主所領受的：主耶穌在被出賣的那一夜，拿起餅來，祝謝了，就掰開，說：「這是我的身體，為了你們的緣故；你們應當如此行，為的是記念我。」晚餐後，他也照樣拿起杯來，說：「這杯是用我的血所立的新約。你們每逢喝的時候，應當如此行，為的是記念我。」
