For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread,

他又拿起餅來，祝謝了，掰開遞給他們，說：「這是我的身體，為你們獻上的；你們應當如此行，為的是記念我。」晚餐後，他也照樣拿起杯來，說：「這杯是用我的血所立的新約，為你們所流的。

在他們吃的時候，耶穌拿起餅來，祝福了，就掰開，遞給門徒們，說：「你們領受吧，這是我的身體。」接著，他拿起杯來，祝謝了，遞給門徒們。他們都喝了。耶穌對他們說：「這是我的血，是為立約的，為許多人所流的。

因為你們知道，我們藉著主耶穌所傳給你們的是什麼吩咐。

我保羅做使徒，既不是出於人，也不是藉著人，而是藉著耶穌基督和使他從死人中復活的父神；

凡我所吩咐你們的，都教導他們遵守。看哪，我就天天都與你們同在，直到這世代的終結。」

耶穌對他說：「我確實地告訴你：今天晚上雞叫以前，你會三次不認我。」

在一週的頭一天，門徒們聚集掰餅的時候，保羅向他們講論，因第二天就要離開，於是一直講到半夜。

「你們知道，過兩天就是逾越節，人子要被交出去釘上十字架。」

弟兄們，我要你們明白，我所傳的福音不是按人的意思，因為我既不是從人領受的，也不是受人教導的，而是藉著耶穌基督的啟示領受的。

除酵節的第一日，門徒們前來問耶穌：「你要我們到哪裡去預備，好讓你吃逾越節的晚餐呢？」
