兄弟、吾人對邪惡之事、宜若童蒙、一無所知；惟對於理智、則莫為童蒙、當作老成練達之人。

Brothers and sisters, stop thinking like children. In regard to evil be infants, but in your thinking be adults.

Brothers and sisters, stop thinking like children. Be like babies as far as evil is concerned. But be grown up in your thinking.

Brothers, do not be children in your thinking. Be infants in evil, but in your thinking be mature.

Dear brothers and sisters, don’t be childish in your understanding of these things. Be innocent as babies when it comes to evil, but be mature in understanding matters of this kind.

要愛慕那純淨的靈奶，像初生的嬰孩愛慕奶一樣，好使你們藉着它成長，以致得救，

我作孩子的時候，說話像孩子，心思像孩子，意念像孩子；既長大成人，就把孩子的事丟棄了。

你們的順服已經傳於眾人，所以我為你們歡喜；但我願你們在善上聰明，在惡上愚拙。

然而，在成熟的人中，我們也講智慧，但不是今世的智慧，也不是今世有權有位、將要滅亡的人的智慧。

說：「我實在告訴你們，你們若不回轉，變成像小孩子一樣，絕不能進天國。

你們倒要在我們的主和救主耶穌基督的恩典和知識上有長進。願榮耀歸給他，從今直到永遠之日。阿們！

那時，耶穌說：「父啊，天地的主，我感謝你！因為你把這些事向聰明智慧的人隱藏起來，而向嬰孩啟示出來。

我所禱告的就是：要你們的愛心，在知識和各樣見識上，不斷增長，

弟兄們，我從前對你們說話，還不能把你們當作屬靈的，只能把你們當作屬肉體的，你們在基督裏僅是嬰孩。我用奶餵你們，沒有用飯餵你們，因為那時你們不能吃。就是如今還是不能，

這樣，我們不再作小孩子，中了人的詭計和欺騙的法術，被一切邪說之風搖動，飄來飄去。我們反而要用愛心說誠實話，各方面向着基督長進，連於元首基督，

所以，我們中間凡是成熟的人，總要存這樣的心；若在甚麼事上存別樣的心，神也會把這些事指示你們。

所以，我們應當離開基督道理的基礎，竭力進到成熟的地步；不必再立根基，就如懊悔致死的行為、信靠神、各樣洗禮、按手禮、死人復活，以及永遠的審判等的教導。神若准許，我們就這樣做。

按時間說，你們早該作教師了，誰知還需要有人再將神聖言基礎的要道教導你們；你們成了那需要吃奶、不能吃乾糧的人。凡只能吃奶的，就不熟練仁義的道理，因為他是嬰孩。

我比我的教師更通達，因我思想你的法度。

我實在告訴你們，凡要接受神國的，若不像小孩子，絕不能進去。」

耶和華啊，我的心不狂妄，我的眼不高傲；重大和測不透的事，我也不敢行。我使我心安穩平靜，好像母親懷中斷奶的孩子；我的心在我裏面如同斷過奶的孩子。

他必以敬畏耶和華為樂；行審判不憑眼見，斷是非也不憑耳聞；

耶穌回答：「那起初造人的，是造男造女，並且說：『因此，人要離開父母，與妻子結合，二人成為一體。』這經文你們沒有念過嗎？
