And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop.

What if a message from God comes to someone else who is sitting there? Then the one who is speaking should stop.

If a revelation is made to another sitting there, let the first be silent.

But if someone is prophesying and another person receives a revelation from the Lord, the one who is speaking must stop.

But if something has been revealed to another person sitting there, the first prophet should be silent.

But if a revelation is made to another who is seated, then the first one is to keep silent.

But if anything is revealed to another who sits by, let the first keep silent.

But if a revelation be made to another sitting by, let the first keep silence.

If[ any thing] be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.

But if a revelation is made to another sitting by, let the first keep silent.

Pay attention, Job– listen to me; be silent, and I will speak.If you have any words, reply to me; speak, for I want to justify you.If not, you listen to me; be silent, and I will teach you wisdom.”

Do not extinguish the Spirit.Do not treat prophecies with contempt.

Look, I waited for you to speak; I listened closely to your wise thoughts, while you were searching for words.

What should you do then, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each one has a song, has a lesson, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation. Let all these things be done for the strengthening of the church.

“ They are dismayed and cannot answer any more; they have nothing left to say.And I have waited. But because they do not speak, because they stand there and answer no more,I too will answer my part, I too will explain what I know.For I am full of words, and the spirit within me constrains me.Inside I am like wine which has no outlet, like new wineskins ready to burst!I will speak, so that I may find relief; I will open my lips, so that I may answer.

Now, brothers and sisters, if I come to you speaking in tongues, how will I help you unless I speak to you with a revelation or with knowledge or prophecy or teaching?
