兄弟宜慕設教、莫禁言諸國方言、

是以兄弟當慕為先知講道、亦勿禁言方言、

總之、望兄弟志於預言同時亦勿禁方言；

Therefore, my brothers and sisters, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.

Brothers and sisters, you should want to prophesy. And don’t stop people from speaking in languages they had not known before.

So, my brothers, earnestly desire to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.

Do not treat prophecies with contempt (niv)

But if an unbeliever or an inquirer comes in while everyone is prophesying, they are convicted of sin and are brought under judgment by all,as the secrets of their hearts are laid bare. So they will fall down and worship God, exclaiming,“ God is really among you!” (niv)

I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, but I would rather have you prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, unless someone interprets, so that the church may be edified. (niv)
