弟兄姊妹，如果我到你们那里只说方言，不讲解有关上帝的启示、知识、预言、教导，我对你们有什么益处呢？

弟兄们，你们想想，如果我到你们那里去，只说方言，不向你们讲有关启示、知识、预言，或教训的话，那我对你们有什么益处呢？

所以弟兄们，就算我现在到你们那里去，用殊言说话，但如果不用启示、知识、预言、或教导来对你们说话，那么我对你们有什么益处呢？

弟兄們，我到你們那裏去，若只說方言，不用啟示，或知識，或預言，或教訓，給你們講解，我與你們有甚麼益處呢？

弟兄們，我到你們那裏去，若只說方言，不用啟示，或知識，或預言，或教導，給你們講解，我對你們有甚麼益處呢？

弟兄們，你們想想，如果我到你們那裡去，只說方言，不向你們講有關啟示、知識、預言，或教訓的話，那我對你們有甚麼益處呢？

其實弟兄們，我到你們那裏去、若只捲舌頭說話，而不用啓示或知識、或神言傳講、或教訓、對你們講，於你們能有甚麼益處呢？

所以弟兄們，就算我現在到你們那裡去，用殊言說話，但如果不用啟示、知識、預言、或教導來對你們說話，那麼我對你們有什麼益處呢？

兄弟乎、如我就爾、第言方言而不以啟示、知識、預言、教誨語爾、則何益哉、

兄弟乎、如我就爾、第言諸國方言、而不傳默示、智慧、預言、教訓、則何益哉、

兄弟乎、我就爾、若第言方言、而不以默示、或知識、或預言、或教訓勸爾、則於爾何益哉、

譬如吾來兄弟處、儘操方言、則於爾何益；必也授爾以啟示、傳爾以知識、覺爾以預言、警爾以教訓、斯有益矣。

Now, brothers and sisters, if I come to you and speak in tongues, what good will I be to you, unless I bring you some revelation or knowledge or prophecy or word of instruction?

Brothers and sisters, suppose I were to come to you and speak in other languages. What good would I be to you? None! I would need to come with new truth or knowledge. Or I would need to come with a prophecy or a teaching.

Now, brothers, if I come to you speaking in tongues, how will I benefit you unless I bring you some revelation or knowledge or prophecy or teaching?

Dear brothers and sisters, if I should come to you speaking in an unknown language, how would that help you? But if I bring you a revelation or some special knowledge or prophecy or teaching, that will be helpful.

So now, brothers and sisters, if I come to you speaking in tongues, how will I benefit you unless I speak to you with a revelation or knowledge or prophecy or teaching?

But now, brothers and sisters, if I come to you speaking in tongues, how will I benefit you unless I speak to you either by way of revelation, or of knowledge, or of prophecy, or of teaching?

But now, brethren, if I come to you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you unless I speak to you either by revelation, by knowledge, by prophesying, or by teaching?

But now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, unless I speak to you either by way of revelation, or of knowledge, or of prophesying, or of teaching?

But now, brothers, if I come to you speaking in other languages, how will I benefit you unless I speak to you with a revelation or knowledge or prophecy or teaching?

Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?

Now, brothers and sisters, if I come to you speaking in tongues, how will I help you unless I speak to you with a revelation or with knowledge or prophecy or teaching?

But now, brothers, if I come to you speaking with other languages, what would I profit you, unless I speak to you either by way of revelation, or of knowledge, or of prophesying, or of teaching?

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. (niv)

But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance. (niv)

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; (niv)

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, (niv)

Indeed, I am against those who prophesy false dreams,” declares the Lord.“ They tell them and lead my people astray with their reckless lies, yet I did not send or appoint them. They do not benefit these people in the least,” declares the Lord. (niv)

What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up.If anyone speaks in a tongue, two— or at the most three— should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret.If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and to God.Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said.And if a revelation comes to someone who is sitting down, the first speaker should stop. Do not turn away after useless idols. They can do you no good, nor can they rescue you, because they are useless. (niv)

Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. It is good for our hearts to be strengthened by grace, not by eating ceremonial foods, which is of no benefit to those who do so. (niv)

Lord, my strength and my fortress, my refuge in time of distress, to you the nations will come from the ends of the earth and say,“ Our ancestors possessed nothing but false gods, worthless idols that did them no good. (niv)

or because of these surpassingly great revelations. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. (niv)

Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, (niv)

This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone. (niv)

I must go on boasting. Although there is nothing to be gained, I will go on to visions and revelations from the Lord. (niv)

even as I try to please everyone in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved. (niv)

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. (niv)

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen. (niv)

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. (niv)

You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, (niv)

All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. (niv)

Keep reminding God’s people of these things. Warn them before God against quarreling about words; it is of no value, and only ruins those who listen. (niv)

Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy. (niv)

In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, (niv)

I may indeed be untrained as a speaker, but I do have knowledge. We have made this perfectly clear to you in every way. (niv)

I myself am convinced, my brothers and sisters, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with knowledge and competent to instruct one another. (niv)

At that time Jesus said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. (niv)

Jesus replied,“ Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. (niv)

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.For we know in part and we prophesy in part, (niv)

What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? (niv)

Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage— with great patience and careful instruction. (niv)

I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. (niv)
