He sent the message to the Israelites, proclaiming the good news of peace through Jesus Christ— he is Lord of all.

And most certainly, the mystery of godliness is great: He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated in the Spirit, seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.

For we know that if our earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal dwelling in the heavens, not made with hands.

In his days Judah will be saved, and Israel will dwell securely. This is the name he will be called: The LORD Is Our Righteousness.

So it is written, The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

But what does“ he ascended” mean except that he also descended to the lower parts of the earth?The one who descended is also the one who ascended far above all the heavens, to fill all things.And he himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers,

He will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God.And he will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of fathers to their children, and the disobedient to the understanding of the righteous, to make ready for the Lord a prepared people.”

See, the virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name him Immanuel, which is translated“ God is with us.”
