既然如此，如今那些在基督耶穌裏的就不被定罪了。

在他們、今世的神已把不信之人的心意弄瞎了，以致基督（上帝的像）榮耀之福音之光照不能發曉於他們心裏。

天使對我說：『這些話是可信可靠真實的話；主、神言人們之靈的上帝、差遣了他的使者、將必須快成的事指示他的僕人們。

『上帝切慕他所安置在我們裏面居住的靈、至於狂熱』你們想這一句經是空說的麼？

或保羅、或亞波羅、或磯法、或世界、或活、或死、或現在的、或將來的、全是你們的；

那時你們行於其中，順着這世界的世風，順着空中有權勢的執政者，就是現今在悖逆的人身上運用動力的靈。

他既不愛惜自己的兒子，反而為我們萬人放棄了他，豈不也把萬物連他、都一同恩賜我們麼？

其實在成熟的人中間、我們倒也講智慧。可不是今世的智慧，又不是今世那些漸被消滅的執政者的智慧；

但上帝卻揀選了世界上愚拙的，要使有智慧的慚愧；上帝又揀選了世界上軟弱的，要使強壯的慚愧；

於是大龍被摔下：大龍就是古蛇，叫魔鬼又叫撒但的，就是那迷惑普天下的。他被摔在地上，他的使者也同他被摔下。
