But I will come to you very soon, if the Lord is willing, and then I will find out not only how these arrogant people are talking, but what power they have.

就辭別他們，說：「神若許可，我還要回到你們這裏來。」於是他上船離開以弗所。

這些事過後，保羅心裏決定要經過馬其頓、亞該亞，就往耶路撒冷去。他說：「我到了那裏以後，也必須到羅馬去看看。」

這是我第三次要到你們那裏去。「任何指控都要憑兩個或三個證人的口述才能成立。」對那些犯了罪的人和其餘所有的人，正如我第二次見你們的時候曾說過，現在不在你們那裏再次說：「我若再來，必不寬容。」因為你們想求證基督是否藉着我說話。基督對你們並不是軟弱的，而是在你們裏面大有能力的。他因軟弱被釘在十字架上，卻因神的大能仍然活着。我們在他裏面也成為軟弱的，但對你們，我們將因神的大能而與他一同活着。

神若准許，我們就這樣做。

有些人以為我不到你們那裏去而自高自大。

你們倒應當說：「主若願意，我們就能活着，也可以做這事或那事。」

他走遍那一帶地方，用許多話勸勉門徒，然後來到希臘，

我自己定了主意，下次不再帶着悲傷到你們那裏去。我若使你們悲傷，除了因我而使他悲傷的那人以外，誰能使我喜樂呢？

若有人餓了，要在家裏先吃，免得你們聚會，反被定罪。其餘的事等我來的時候再安排。

我希望你們都說方言，更希望你們作先知講道；因為說方言的，若不解釋出來，使教會得造就，那作先知講道的就比他強了。

並使我照着神的旨意歡歡喜喜地到你們那裏，與你們同得安息。

我指着我的性命求告神作證，我沒有再往哥林多去是為了要寬容你們。

既然我這樣深信，早就有意先到你們那裏去，讓你們得加倍的益處。我要路過你們那裏往馬其頓去，再從馬其頓回到你們那裏，讓你們給我送行往猶太去。我有此意，難道是反覆不定嗎？難道我的意願是從私慾起的，以致我忽是忽非嗎？

我想穿越馬其頓；我經過了馬其頓後，就到你們那裏去，

然而，在成熟的人中，我們也講智慧，但不是今世的智慧，也不是今世有權有位、將要滅亡的人的智慧。
