非指外界淫亂、慳吝、掠奪、迷信偶像之人也。吾豈欲爾脫離人世乎？

俾成完人、而為天主之孝子、處邪污之世、而能保守清白、明如日月、照耀乾坤；

與世俗同流合污、聽命於塵氛中之魔王。魔王者、即至今猶在悖逆心中活動之邪神也。

爾曹乃世間之光也城建於山、不能隱也；人未有燃燈而藏之於斗下者、必置之檠上、用燭全室。爾之光輝、亦當燭照世人、庶幾世人皆見爾善行、而歸榮於爾在天之父。
