寇攘、貪婪、沉湎、詬誶、殘酷者、皆不得上帝國也、

盜竊者、沈湎者、詬詈者、勒索者、皆不得天主國、

作盜賊、貪污、沉湎、謗人、勒索之徒、未有能承受天主之國者也。

nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

Neither will thieves or those who always want more and more. Neither will those who are often drunk or tell lies or cheat. People who live like that will not receive God’s kingdom.

但現在，我寫信告訴你們，若有稱為弟兄的人卻仍犯淫亂，或貪婪，或拜偶像，或辱罵，或醉酒，或勒索，這樣的人不可跟他交往，就是跟他吃飯都不可以。

嫉妒、醉酒、荒宴等類。我從前告訴過你們，現在又告訴你們，做這樣事的人必不能承受神的國。

這地的百姓慣行欺壓搶奪之事，虧負困苦和貧窮的人，欺壓寄居者，沒有公平。

你們這些蛇啊，毒蛇的孽種啊，怎能逃脫地獄的懲罰呢？

偷竊的，不要再偷；總要勤勞，親手做正當的事，這樣才可以把自己有的，分給有缺乏的人。

其中的領袖彷彿野狼抓撕掠物，流人的血，傷害人命，為得不義之財。

你們中間，不可有人因為殺人、偷竊、作惡、好管閒事而受苦。

他說這話，並不是關心窮人，而是因為他是個賊，又管錢囊，常偷取錢囊中所存的。

不准有人在這事上越軌，佔他弟兄的便宜；因為這一類的事，主必報應，正如我預先對你們說過，又切切警告過你們的。

其實你恨惡管教，將我的言語拋在腦後。你見了盜賊就樂意與他同夥，又和行姦淫的人同流合污。

「看哪，我因你所得不義之財和你們中間所流的血，就擊打手掌。

這稱為我名下的殿在你們眼中豈可看為賊窩呢？看哪，我真的都看見了。這是耶和華說的。

你的官長悖逆，與盜賊為伍，全都喜愛賄賂，追求贓物；他們不為孤兒伸冤，寡婦的案件也呈不到他們面前。

「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們當着人的面把天國的門關了，自己不進去，要進去的人，你們也不容他們進去。

看見路旁有一棵無花果樹，就走到跟前，在樹上找不到甚麼，只有葉子，就對樹說：「從今以後，你永不結果子！」那無花果樹立刻枯乾了。
