“ Don’t you realize that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and is eliminated?

because the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church. He is the Savior of the body.

Don’t you know that your bodies are a part of Christ’s body? So should I take a part of Christ’s body and make it part of a prostitute? Absolutely not!

For this is God’s will, your sanctification: that you keep away from sexual immorality,that each of you knows how to control his own body in holiness and honor,not with lustful passions, like the Gentiles, who don’t know God.This means one must not transgress against and take advantage of a brother or sister in this manner, because the Lord is an avenger of all these offenses, as we also previously told and warned you.For God has not called us to impurity but to live in holiness.

All these regulations refer to what is destined to perish by being used up; they are human commands and doctrines.Although these have a reputation for wisdom by promoting self-made religion, false humility, and severe treatment of the body, they are not of any value in curbing self-indulgence.

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

For it doesn’t go into his heart but into the stomach and is eliminated”( thus he declared all foods clean).

Don’t work for the food that perishes but for the food that lasts for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set his seal of approval on him.”

For none of us lives for himself, and no one dies for himself.If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.Christ died and returned to life for this: that he might be Lord over both the dead and the living.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship.
