Or is he not surely speaking for our benefit? It was written for us, because the one plowing and threshing ought to work in hope of enjoying the harvest.

不全是为我们说的吗？分明是为我们说的。因为耕种的当存着指望去耕种；打场的也当存得粮的指望去打场。

他不全是为我们说的吗？的确是为我们说的！因为耕种的要存着指望去耕种；收割的也要存着分享谷物的指望去收割。

祂这样说难道不是为了我们吗？这话的确是为我们写的，因为耕耘的和打谷的农夫都应该存着分享收成的盼望劳作。

这不全是为我们说的吗？当然是为我们说的，因为耕种的应当存着希望去耕种，收割的也应当存着希望去分享收获。

还是特别为我们说的呢？这样写下来，当然是为我们的缘故！因为耕田的应该怀着希望去耕田，打场的应该怀着一同分享粮食的希望去打场。

非概為我儕言之乎、固為我儕而書也、因耕者當以所望而耕、打穀者宜有共得之望、

此非為我言乎、固為我言也、使耕者望穡而耕、打稻者共得所望焉、

天主豈為牛慮乎、抑特為我言之乎、固為我載之、蓋耕者必以望而耕、碾穀者亦必因望而碾、即得穀之望也、

其作是語也、非為吾人之故乎？固為吾人之故也。欲使耕耘者、懷收穫之望而耕耘；勞作者、懷共享之望而勞作也。

Surely he says this for us, doesn’t he? Yes, this was written for us, because whoever plows and threshes should be able to do so in the hope of sharing in the harvest.

Doesn’t he say that for us? Yes, it was written for us. Whoever plows and separates the grain hopes to share the harvest. And it is right for them to hope for this.

Does he not certainly speak for our sake? It was written for our sake, because the plowman should plow in hope and the thresher thresh in hope of sharing in the crop.

Wasn’t he actually speaking to us? Yes, it was written for us, so that the one who plows and the one who threshes the grain might both expect a share of the harvest.

Isn’t he really saying it for our sake? Yes, this is written for our sake, because he who plows ought to plow in hope, and he who threshes should thresh in hope of sharing the crop.

Or is He speaking entirely for our sake? Yes, it was written for our sake, because the plowman ought to plow in hope, and the thresher to thresh in hope of sharing in the crops.

Or does He say it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written, that he who plows should plow in hope, and he who threshes in hope should be partaker of his hope.

or saith he it assuredly for our sake? Yea, for our sake it was written: because he that ploweth ought to plow in hope, and he that thresheth, to thresh in hope of partaking.

Or isn’t He really saying it for us? Yes, this is written for us, because he who plows ought to plow in hope, and he who threshes should do so in hope of sharing the crop.

Or saith he[ it] altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt,[ this] is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.

or does he say it assuredly for our sake? Yes, it was written for our sake, because he who plows ought to plow in hope, and he who threshes in hope should partake of his hope.

The farmer who works hard ought to have the first share of the crops.

But the statement it was credited to him was not written only for Abraham’s sake,but also for our sake, to whom it will be credited, those who believe in the one who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.

For everything that was written in former times was written for our instruction, so that through endurance and through encouragement of the scriptures we may have hope.

Don’t you say,‘ There are four more months and then comes the harvest?’ I tell you, look up and see that the fields are already white for harvest!The one who reaps receives pay and gathers fruit for eternal life, so that the one who sows and the one who reaps can rejoice together.For in this instance the saying is true,‘ One sows and another reaps.’I sent you to reap what you did not work for; others have labored and you have entered into their labor.”

For all these things are for your sake, so that the grace that is including more and more people may cause thanksgiving to increase to the glory of God.

We are coworkers belonging to God. You are God’s field, God’s building.

And if those days had not been cut short, no one would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

“ Would any one of you say to your slave who comes in from the field after plowing or shepherding sheep,‘ Come at once and sit down for a meal’?Won’t the master instead say to him,‘ Get my dinner ready, and make yourself ready to serve me while I eat and drink. Then you may eat and drink’?
