小子乎、吾報爾嘉音、蓋爾已識天父矣。父老乎、吾報爾嘉音、蓋爾已與元始永生之主相識矣。

父已將萬有交付於予矣！知子惟父、知父惟子、與夫受子啟迪之人。』

可愛哉小子、爾等則本乎天主、而戰勝若輩矣。無他寓於爾內者、實遠勝乎寓於世間者也。

吾知凡為天主所生者、不犯罪；以有天主之惟一聖子為之監護、而元兇莫之能近也。

吾父已將一切付諸於我矣。知子惟父、知父惟子、及蒙子啟牖之人。

彼之所以為此者、祇緣未識聖父、亦未識予。

彼既向我致丹忱。寧能孤負有心人。將彼拔擢登高位。以彼永懷予之名。

然吾人將何以證明已與之相識乎？亦惟守其誡命而已矣。人若自言與之相識、而不守其誡命、是為誑者、而無真理存乎其衷。

小子乎、吾作是書、欲爾等勿犯罪耳。然即使不幸獲罪、則吾人在聖父臺前、自有恩保代為贖罪、即聖者耶穌基督是已。

壯男與閨女。白髮與總角。

願彼眾能翕然合而為一；正如吾父體予、予體吾父、願彼眾亦能仰體吾儕、而融為一體、庶幾世人信父實曾遣予。

若輩乃詰之曰：『爾父安在？』耶穌曰：『爾曹既不識予亦不識吾父。苟能識予、儻亦識吾父矣！』

聞天國之道而不之悟、惡者旋至、奪其所播於心、斯乃播於道旁者也。

耶穌曰：『予若自榮、亦何榮之有？榮予者吾父也！吾父非他、即爾自言為爾天主者是。雖然、爾實末嘗識之、惟予則識；予若云不識、是亦妄而已矣、無異於爾之妄也。顧予實識之、且亦篤守其道也。
