連我知己的朋友，我所倚靠、吃過我飯的也用腳踢我。

然而他們不能再這樣敵擋；因為他們的愚昧必在眾人面前顯露出來，像那二人一樣。

就是照父神的先見被揀選，藉着聖靈得成聖潔，以致順服耶穌基督，又蒙他血所灑的人。願恩惠、平安多多地加給你們。願頌讚歸與我們主耶穌基督的父神！他曾照自己的大憐憫，藉耶穌基督從死裏復活，重生了我們，叫我們有活潑的盼望，可以得着不能朽壞、不能玷污、不能衰殘、為你們存留在天上的基業。你們這因信蒙神能力保守的人，必能得着所預備、到末世要顯現的救恩。

撒在石頭地上的，就是人聽了道，當下歡喜領受，只因心裏沒有根，不過是暫時的，及至為道遭了患難，或是受了逼迫，立刻就跌倒了。

凡屬我不結果子的枝子，他就剪去；凡結果子的，他就修理乾淨，使枝子結果子更多。

因為假基督、假先知將要起來，顯大神蹟、大奇事，倘若能行，連選民也就迷惑了。

如今也是這樣，照着揀選的恩典，還有所留的餘數。既是出於恩典，就不在乎行為；不然，恩典就不是恩典了。

凡父所賜給我的人必到我這裏來；到我這裏來的，我總不丟棄他。因為我從天上降下來，不是要按自己的意思行，乃是要按那差我來者的意思行。差我來者的意思就是：他所賜給我的，叫我一個也不失落，在末日卻叫他復活。

我們聽說，有幾個人從我們這裏出去，用言語攪擾你們，惑亂你們的心。其實我們並沒有吩咐他們。

耶穌基督的僕人，雅各的弟兄猶大，寫信給那被召、在父神裏蒙愛、為耶穌基督保守的人。

倘若他們因認識主－救主耶穌基督，得以脫離世上的污穢，後來又在其中被纏住、制伏，他們末後的景況就比先前更不好了。他們曉得義路，竟背棄了傳給他們的聖命，倒不如不曉得為妙。

我們卻不是退後入沉淪的那等人，乃是有信心以致靈魂得救的人。
