吾人固知吾人寓於天主之懷、而天主亦寓於吾心也。何以故、以天主已賦吾人以聖神、使吾人得與之心交神契矣。

This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.

Here’s how we know that we are joined to him and he to us. He has given us his Holy Spirit.

By this we know that we abide in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.

此聖宅、以宗徒先知為基、而有耶穌基督親充隅石；石上廣廈、經營正殷、結構日精、而規模日宏、駸駸乎將因主而成為聖殿矣。爾等亦為此廣廈之一部、聖神所建於同一隅石之上、以供天主之居停者也。

爾豈不知爾乃天主之宮殿、天主聖神之所寓乎？人而毀傷天主之宮殿、則天主必棄絕之；應知天主之宮殿至為聖潔、而爾實天主之宮殿也。

是日既臨、爾等必知予之在父、爾之在予、而予之在爾矣。凡懷予之誡而踐履之者、斯為愛予之人、愛予者、必見愛於吾父、予亦愛之、且願自顯於若人。』樹德（非茹答斯依斯加略）問曰：『主將何以自顯於吾儕、而不顯於世人乎？』耶穌曰：『人若愛予、必守吾訓、則吾父必愛之、且將偕予同就若人、而以之為安宅。人不愛予、則必不守吾訓矣。顧爾所聞者、實非吾訓、乃遣予之父所訓也。值茲與爾聚首之時、以此相告、惟父將以予名義、遣發保慰恩師、彼必教爾以一切、且使爾追憶領會予之所言也。
