He has also invited the commanders of the army and Abiathar the priest. Even now they are eating and drinking with him. They are saying,‘ May King Adonijah live a long time!’

For he has gone down this day and has sacrificed oxen, fattened cattle, and sheep in abundance, and has invited all the king’s sons, the commanders of the army, and Abiathar the priest. And behold, they are eating and drinking before him, and saying,‘ Long live King Adonijah!’

一天，亞多尼雅在隱·羅結附近的瑣希列磐石那裡宰了牛羊和肥牛犢獻祭，並邀請了眾王子和猶大的群臣。

「奉主名來的王當受稱頌！天上有平安，至高處有榮耀！」

大衛的朋友亞基人戶篩去見押沙龍，對他說：「願王萬歲！願王萬歲！」

我們的上帝啊，我們稱頌你，讚美你榮耀的名。

耶何耶大祭司領王子出來，給他戴上王冠，把律法書交給他，膏立他為王。眾人都鼓掌高呼：「願王萬歲！」

撒母耳對民眾說：「來吧，我們到吉甲去，在那裡重新立國。」於是，他們來到吉甲，在耶和華面前立掃羅為王，又向耶和華獻上平安祭。掃羅和全體以色列人都非常歡喜。

大家前呼後擁，高聲歡呼：「和散那！奉主名來的當受稱頌！那將要來臨的我祖大衛的國度當受稱頌！和散那歸於至高之處的上帝！」

眾人前呼後擁，歡呼著說：「和散那歸於大衛的後裔！奉主名來的當受稱頌！和散那歸於至高之處的上帝！」

次日，他們向耶和華獻祭。他們代表全以色列獻上一千頭公牛、一千隻公綿羊、一千隻羊羔作燔祭，同時還獻上奠祭及許多其他祭。

然後他們領王子出來，給他戴上王冠，把律法書交給他。耶何耶大及其眾子膏立王子為王。眾人高呼：「願王萬歲！」

撒督祭司和拿單先知要在那裡膏立他為以色列王。你們要吹響號角，高喊，『所羅門王萬歲！』
