哈曼进来了，王问他：“王愿意赐予尊荣的人，应该怎么对待他呢？”哈曼心里说：“王愿意赐予尊荣的人，除我以外，还会有谁呢？”哈曼就对王说：“王愿意赐予尊荣的人，应该让人把王所穿的王袍和王所骑的马，就是头戴御冠的马带来，把衣袍和马交在王的一个贵族首领的手中，给王愿意赐予尊荣的人穿上衣袍，使他骑上马，然后领他走遍城市广场，并在他前面宣告：‘王愿意赐予尊荣的人，就要这样对待他！’”于是王对哈曼说：“赶快！把衣袍和马带来，照着你所说的那样对待坐在御门那里的犹太人末迪凯；凡你所说的，一样也不可缺少。”哈曼就把衣袍和马带来，给末迪凯穿上衣袍，使他骑上马，然后领他走遍城市广场，并在他前面宣告：“王愿意赐予尊荣的人，就要这样对待他！”

又让约瑟乘自己的副车，喝道的在约瑟前面向人呼喊：“跪下！”这样，法老委派他管理埃及全地。
