王的臣仆也来向我们的主大卫王道喜说，‘愿王的上帝使所罗门比王更声名显赫，使他的国比王的国更强大。’王在床上俯伏敬拜，

並且王的臣僕也已經來向我們的主上大衛王祝頌，說：「願你的上帝使所羅門的名聲比你的名聲更好，使他的王位比你的王位更尊大。」王就在床上跪拜上帝。

王之臣僕至、祝我主大衛王曰、願爾上帝、使所羅門之名、較爾名尤尊、其國位、較爾國位尤大、王乃俯伏於牀、

王之臣僕、祝我主大闢王時、皆言願上帝以所羅門之名、較王名尤尊、其國較王國尤大。王聞是言、伏床而拜上帝。

王之臣僕亦來見我主大衛王、為之祝福曰、願王之天主使所羅門之名、較王之名更尊榮、使其國位更大、王遂在床敬拜天主、

Also, the royal officials have come to congratulate our lord King David, saying,‘ May your God make Solomon’s name more famous than yours and his throne greater than yours!’ And the king bowed in worship on his bed

The royal officials came to give their blessing to our master King David. They said,‘ May your God make Solomon’s name more famous than yours! May he make Solomon’s kingdom greater than yours!’ While King David was sitting on his bed, he bowed in worship.

Moreover, the king’s servants came to congratulate our lord King David, saying,‘ May your God make the name of Solomon more famous than yours, and make his throne greater than your throne.’ And the king bowed himself on the bed.

And all the royal officials have gone to King David and congratulated him, saying,‘ May your God make Solomon’s fame even greater than your own, and may Solomon’s reign be even greater than yours!’ Then the king bowed his head in worship as he lay in his bed,

“ The king’s servants have also gone to congratulate our lord King David, saying,‘ May your God make the name of Solomon more well known than your name, and may he make his throne greater than your throne.’ Then the king bowed in worship on his bed.

Moreover, the king’s servants came to bless our lord King David, saying,‘ May your God make the name of Solomon better than your name, and his throne greater than your throne!’ And the king bowed himself on the bed.

And moreover the king’s servants have gone to bless our Lord King David, saying,‘ May God make the name of Solomon better than your name, and may He make his throne greater than your throne.’ Then the king bowed himself on the bed.

And moreover the king’s servants came to bless our lord king David, saying, Thy God make the name of Solomon better than thy name, and make his throne greater than thy throne: and the king bowed himself upon the bed.

And moreover the king’s servants came to bless our lord king David, saying, God make the name of Solomon better than thy name, and make his throne greater than thy throne. And the king bowed himself upon the bed.

The king’s servants have even come to congratulate our master King David, saying,‘ May your God make Solomon more famous than you and make him an even greater king than you!’ Then the king leaned on the bed

Moreover the king’s servants came to bless our lord king David, saying,‘ May your God make the name of Solomon better than your name, and make his throne greater than your throne;’ and the king bowed himself on the bed.

As the Lord was with my lord the king, so may he be with Solomon to make his throne even greater than the throne of my lord King David!” (niv)

“ Swear to me,” he said. Then Joseph swore to him, and Israel worshiped as he leaned on the top of his staff. (niv)

so that they may offer sacrifices pleasing to the God of heaven and pray for the well-being of the king and his sons. (niv)

David asked the Gibeonites,“ What shall I do for you? How shall I make atonement so that you will bless the Lord’s inheritance?” (niv)

Take your flocks and herds, as you have said, and go. And also bless me.” (niv)

By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of Joseph’s sons, and worshiped as he leaned on the top of his staff. (niv)

“ Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!”“ Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!” (niv)

May the Lord answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion.May he remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings.May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. (niv)

he sent his son Joram to King David to greet him and congratulate him on his victory in battle over Hadadezer, who had been at war with Tou. Joram brought with him articles of silver, of gold and of bronze. (niv)
