Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Take fragrant spices— gum resin, onycha and galbanum— and pure frankincense, all in equal amounts, (niv)

On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. (niv)

It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. (niv)

Gold there is, and rubies in abundance, but lips that speak knowledge are a rare jewel. (niv)
