他就對那從猶大來的神人喊着說：『永恆主這麼說：「你既違背了永恆主所吩咐的，不遵守永恆主你的上帝所囑咐你的命令，

遂向自猶大來之上帝僕呼曰、耶和華云、因爾違耶和華之言、不守爾上帝耶和華所命、

告自猶大而至上帝之僕、曰、耶和華云、因爾違命、不守爾上帝耶和華誡、

謂自猶大來之神人曰、主如是云、因爾違背主言、不守主爾天主所諭爾之誡、

He cried out to the man of God who had come from Judah,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ You have defied the word of the Lord and have not kept the command the Lord your God gave you.

He cried out to the man who had come from Judah. He told him,“ The Lord says,‘ You have not done what I told you to do. You have not obeyed the command I gave you. I am the Lord your God.

你必因自己的罪恶而受惩罚，因自己的背叛而受责备。因此，你要省察且明白，背弃你的上帝耶和华、不敬畏我是多么邪恶、痛苦。这是万军之耶和华说的。

凡我所爱的，我都会责备、管教。因此，你要热心起来，也要悔改。

“亚伦要去他祖先那里了，他不能进入我赐给以色列人的土地，因为你们在米利巴泉违背了我的命令。

以利年老体胖，听到约柜被掳去，就从门边的座位上向后跌倒，颈断身亡。他做士师审理以色列人的事务共四十年。

因为耶和华吩咐我不可在这里用饭喝水，也不可原路返回。”

迦得就来见大卫，对他说：“你愿意国内有七年饥荒呢？还是被敌人追杀三个月呢？还是国内发生三天瘟疫呢？请你考虑好后告诉我，我好回复那差我来的。”

即便是我们或天使，若另传福音给你们，与我们以前传给你们的相悖，也该受咒诅。我们已经说过，现在我再说一次：如果有人向你们传别的福音，跟你们以前接受的不同，那人该受咒诅。

撒母耳说：“你真糊涂！你违背了你的上帝耶和华的命令。祂本来要使你的王位在以色列永远坚立，但现在你的王位不能长久了，耶和华已经找到一个合祂心意的人，要立他做百姓的君王。因为你没有遵守耶和华的命令。”

耶和华对摩西和亚伦说：“你们对我没有足够的信心，没有当着以色列人的面尊我为圣，所以你们不得带领会众进入我将要赐给他们的土地。”

你为何不听从祂的命令？你为何急于掠夺财物，做耶和华视为邪恶的事呢？”

撒母耳说：“耶和华喜欢燔祭和其他祭物，还是喜欢人们听从祂的话？顺服胜于献祭，听从耶和华胜过向祂献上公羊的脂肪。叛逆不亚于行巫术的罪，顽固不化无异于拜偶像。你拒绝耶和华的命令，祂也拒绝你做王。”扫罗对撒母耳说：“我犯罪了！我违背了耶和华的命令和你的指示。我因惧怕百姓，就听从了他们。

二人的眼睛果然明亮起来，这才发觉自己原来赤身露体，便把无花果树的叶子编起来遮体。

你为什么蔑视我的命令，做出我视为可憎的事呢？你借亚扪人的刀杀了赫人乌利亚，把他的妻子据为己有。因为你藐视我，把赫人乌利亚的妻子据为己有，从今以后，杀戮流血的事必永不离开你的家。’耶和华说，‘我要在你家中降下灾祸，我要当着你的面把你的妻妾交给你的近臣，他必在光天化日之下与她们行淫。
