列國的君王各自在自己的墳墓中，在尊榮裏長眠。惟獨你被拋棄在你的墳墓之外，有如被厭惡的枝子，被許多用刀刺透殺死的人覆蓋着，一同墜落地府的石頭那裏，像被踐踏的屍首。你不得與君王同葬，因為你毀壞你的國，殺戮你的民。「惡人的後裔永不留名。

所以，耶和華論到約西亞的兒子猶大王約雅敬如此說：人必不為他舉哀：「哀哉，我的哥哥！哀哉，我的姊姊！」也不為他舉哀：「哀哉，我的主！哀哉，我主的榮華！」他被埋葬好像埋驢子一樣，被拖出去，扔在耶路撒冷城門外。
