He sent His angel and rescued His servants who trusted in Him. They violated the king’s command and risked their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.

My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths. They haven’t hurt me, for I was found innocent before Him. Also, I have not committed a crime against you my king.”The king was overjoyed and gave orders to take Daniel out of the den. So Daniel was taken out of the den, uninjured, for he trusted in his God.The king then gave the command, and those men who had maliciously accused Daniel were brought and thrown into the lions’ den— they, their children, and their wives. They had not reached the bottom of the den before the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones.

Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the jail were shaken, and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone’s chains came loose.

Then fire came from the Lord and burned them to death before the Lord.

The ravens kept bringing him bread and meat in the morning and in the evening, and he drank from the wadi.

Since the king’s command was so urgent and the furnace extremely hot, the raging flames killed those men who carried Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego up.

Praise the Lord from the earth, all sea monsters and ocean depths,lightning and hail, snow and cloud, powerful wind that executes His command,

Do you not fear Me? This is the Lord’s declaration. Do you not tremble before Me, the One who set the sand as the boundary of the sea, an enduring barrier that it cannot cross? The waves surge, but they cannot prevail. They roar but cannot pass over it.But these people have stubborn and rebellious hearts. They have turned aside and have gone away.

who by faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, obtained promises, shut the mouths of lions,quenched the raging of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, gained strength after being weak, became mighty in battle, and put foreign armies to flight.

when I declared:“ You may come this far, but no farther; your proud waves stop here”?
