When King Jeroboam heard what the man of God cried out against the altar at Bethel, he stretched out his hand from the altar and said,“ Seize him!” But the hand he stretched out toward the man shriveled up, so that he could not pull it back.

The man of God announced that message against the altar at Bethel. When King Jeroboam heard it, he reached out his hand from the altar. He said,“ Grab him!” But as he reached out his hand toward the man, it dried up. He couldn’t even pull it back.

And when the king heard the saying of the man of God, which he cried against the altar at Bethel, Jeroboam stretched out his hand from the altar, saying,“ Seize him.” And his hand, which he stretched out against him, dried up, so that he could not draw it back to himself.

When King Jeroboam heard the man of God speaking against the altar at Bethel, he pointed at him and shouted,“ Seize that man!” But instantly the king’s hand became paralyzed in that position, and he couldn’t pull it back.

When the king heard the message that the man of God had cried out against the altar at Bethel, Jeroboam stretched out his hand from the altar and said,“ Arrest him!” But the hand he stretched out against him withered, and he could not pull it back to himself.

Now when the king heard the statement of the man of God which he cried out against the altar in Bethel, Jeroboam stretched out his hand from the altar, saying,“ Seize him!” But his hand which he had stretched out toward him dried up, and he could not draw it back to himself.

So it came to pass when King Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, who cried out against the altar in Bethel, that he stretched out his hand from the altar, saying,“ Arrest him!” Then his hand, which he stretched out toward him, withered, so that he could not pull it back to himself.

And it came to pass, when the king heard the saying of the man of God, which he cried against the altar in Beth- el, that Jeroboam put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not draw it back again to him.

And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.

When the king heard what the prophet cried out against the altar in Bethel, Jeroboam, standing at the altar, extended his hand and ordered,“ Seize him!” The hand he had extended shriveled up and he could not pull it back.

因此，耶和華向亞瑪謝發怒，祂派一個先知去見他，說：「這些神明既然不能從你手中救自己的人民，你為什麼還要祭拜它們呢？」先知的話還沒有說完，王就打斷他，說：「住口！誰立你做王的謀士了？你要自取滅亡嗎？」先知停了一下，又說：「我知道上帝已定意要毀滅你，因為你做了這事，不聽我的忠告。」

耶利米傳達完耶和華的話之後，祭司、先知和民眾就抓住他，說：「你真該死！你為什麼奉耶和華的名預言這殿必像示羅一樣被毀，這城必要荒無人煙呢？」於是，他們在耶和華的殿裡把耶利米圍了起來。猶大的首領得知後，就離開王宮，上到耶和華的殿，坐在耶和華殿新門的入口。祭司和先知對官員和民眾說：「這人該被處死！因為他預言這城要被毀，這是你們親耳聽到的。」

亞撒聽了就對先見發怒，把他囚禁在監獄裡，同時又壓迫一些民眾。

他們聽到耶穌說「我就是」，便後退跌倒在地上。

出賣耶穌的猶大預先和他們定了暗號，說：「我親吻誰，誰就是耶穌，你們把祂抓起來，小心押走。」猶大隨即走到耶穌跟前說：「老師。」然後就親吻耶穌。其他人就下手捉拿耶穌。

便下令毆打耶利米先知，把他囚禁在耶和華殿的便雅憫上門處。第二天，他釋放了耶利米，耶利米對他說：「耶和華不再叫你巴施戶珥，要叫你瑪歌珥·米撒畢。因為耶和華說，『我要使你和你的朋友都驚慌失措，讓你親眼看見你的朋友死在敵人刀下；我要把猶大人都交在巴比倫王手中，使他們或被殺或被擄到巴比倫；我要把這城裡所有的財富、出產、珍寶，甚至猶大列王的寶物都交給敵人，帶到巴比倫作戰利品。你巴施戶珥、你所有的家人以及聽你說假預言的朋友都要被擄到巴比倫，死在那裡，葬在那裡。』」

若有人要傷害他們，他們便從口中噴出火焰，燒滅敵人；若有人企圖加害他們，必定會這樣被殺。

說：「不可難為我膏立的人，也不可傷害我的先知。」

但希臘名字叫以呂馬的那個術士反對使徒，試圖攔阻總督信主。又名保羅的掃羅被聖靈充滿，盯著他說：「你這魔鬼的兒子，充滿了詭詐和邪惡，是一切正義之敵，到現在還想歪曲主的正道嗎？現在主要親手懲罰你，使你瞎眼，暫時不見天日！」他頓覺眼前一片漆黑，只好四處摸索，求人領他走路。

以色列王下令說：「把米該雅交給亞們總督和約阿施王子，告訴他們，『王說，要把這人關進監牢，只給他一些餅和水，直到我平安地回來。』」米該雅說：「你若能夠平安回來，耶和華就沒有藉著我說話。」他又說：「眾民啊，你們都要記住我的話。」

他倒在地上，聽見有聲音對他說：「掃羅！掃羅！你為什麼迫害我？」他說：「主啊，你是誰？」那聲音說：「我就是你所迫害的耶穌。

捉拿耶穌的人把祂押到大祭司該亞法那裡。律法教師和長老已聚集在那裡。

我實實在在地告訴你們，人若接待我所差遣的，就是接待我；接待我，就是接待差我來的那位。」

分封王希律娶了自己弟弟的妻子希羅底，又做了許多惡事，因而受到約翰的指責，可是他卻惡上加惡，將約翰關進監牢裡。

「王會回答說，『我實在告訴你們，你們幫助我最卑微的一個弟兄，就是幫助我了。』

又煽動百姓、長老和律法教師抓住司提凡，把他押到公會。他們還派人作偽證說：「司提凡常常講侮辱聖地和律法的話。我們聽見他說那個拿撒勒人耶穌要毀壞聖殿，還要摒棄摩西傳給我們的規矩。」

當時，基列·耶琳人示瑪雅的兒子烏利亞也奉耶和華的名預言這城和這地方將被毀，內容與耶利米說的一樣。約雅敬王和他的王公大臣聽見烏利亞的話，就想處死他。烏利亞得知後，嚇得逃到埃及去了。約雅敬王便派亞革波的兒子以利拿單率隨從去埃及捉拿他。他們把烏利亞從埃及押到約雅敬王面前，王用刀殺了他，把屍首拋在平民的墳地中。

這幾位官長就對西底迦王說：「求你處死這人！因為他的話令這城的軍民士氣低落。這人不為人民著想，反要害他們。」西底迦王說：「你們可以隨意處置他，我不會阻止你們。」於是，他們拿住耶利米，用繩子把他縋到王子瑪基雅的蓄水池裡。那池子在護衛兵的院子裡，池中沒有水，只有淤泥。耶利米就陷在淤泥中。

伯特利的祭司亞瑪謝派人告訴以色列王耶羅波安：「阿摩司在以色列家圖謀背叛你，我們國家無法容忍他的言論。因為阿摩司這樣說，『耶羅波安將喪身刀下，以色列人必被擄去，遠離家鄉。』」亞瑪謝對我說：「先見啊，走吧！逃回猶大去吧！你要在那裡掙吃的，在那裡說預言。不可再在伯特利說預言，這裡是王的聖所，是國廟。」我答道：「我本不是先知，也不是先知的門徒。我只是一個牧人，也替人看護桑樹。但耶和華不再讓我看守羊群，祂對我說，『去！向我的以色列子民說預言。』亞瑪謝啊，你說，『不要說攻擊以色列的預言，不要傳講攻擊以撒子孫的信息。』現在你要聽耶和華對你說的話。耶和華說，『你的妻子必在這城裡淪為妓女，你的兒女必喪身刀下，你的田地必被人丈量、瓜分，你自己必死在異鄉。以色列人必被擄去，遠離家鄉。』」

祂環視眾人，然後對那人說：「把手伸出來！」那人的手一伸就復原了。

並讓門外的人，不論老少都眼目昏花，摸來摸去也找不著羅得家的門。

亞蘭人向以利沙衝來，以利沙祈求耶和華說：「求你使他們瞎眼。」耶和華聽了以利沙的禱告，使他們瞎了眼。以利沙對他們說：「不是這條路，也不是這座城。跟我來，我帶你們到你們要找的人那裡。」以利沙把他們領到撒瑪利亞。他們進城後，以利沙禱告：「耶和華啊，求你開他們的眼睛，讓他們看見。」耶和華開了他們的眼睛，他們就看見了，發現自己在撒瑪利亞城中。
