But the man of God said to the king,“ If you were to give me half your house, I would not go in with you; nor would I eat bread nor drink water in this place.

神人对王说：“你就是把你的宫一半给我，我也不同你进去，也不在这地方吃饭喝水；

神人对王说：“你就是把你一半的王宫给我，我也不跟你进去，也不在这地方吃饭喝水，

上帝的仆人却说：“你就是把你一半的财富送给我，我也不跟你去，也不在这地方用饭喝水，

神人对王说：“你就是把王宫的一半给我，我也不会与你回去，也不在这地方吃饭喝水。

神人對王說：“你就是把王宮的一半給我，我也不會與你回去，也不在這地方吃飯喝水。

神人對王說：『你就使把你家產的一半給了我，我也不同你進去，也不在這地方喫飯喝水；

上帝僕曰、爾即以家之半賜我、我必不偕爾歸、亦不食餅飲水於此、

上帝之僕曰、即爾以家之半賜於我、我不入爾室、亦不食餅飲水於此。

神人對王曰、爾即以爾室中所有之半賜我、我亦不偕爾入室、亦不在此處食餅飲水、

But the man of God answered the king,“ Even if you were to give me half your possessions, I would not go with you, nor would I eat bread or drink water here.

But the man of God replied to the king. He said,“ What if you were to give me half of what you own? Even then I wouldn’t go with you. I wouldn’t eat bread or drink water here.

And the man of God said to the king,“ If you give me half your house, I will not go in with you. And I will not eat bread or drink water in this place,

But the man of God said to the king,“ Even if you gave me half of everything you own, I would not go with you. I would not eat or drink anything in this place.

But the man of God replied,“ If you were to give me half your house, I still wouldn’t go with you, and I wouldn’t eat food or drink water in this place,

But the man of God said to the king,“ If you were to give me half your house, I would not go with you, nor would I eat bread or drink water in this place.

And the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thy house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place;

But the man of God replied,“ If you were to give me half your house, I still wouldn’t go with you, and I wouldn’t eat bread or drink water in this place,

And the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place:

But the prophet said to the king,“ Even if you were to give me half your possessions, I could not go with you and eat and drink in this place.

The man of God said to the king,“ Even if you gave me half of your house, I would not go in with you, neither would I eat bread nor drink water in this place;

‘ If Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go beyond the word of the Lord, to do good or bad of my own will. What the Lord says, that I must speak’?

Then Balaam answered and said to the servants of Balak,“ Though Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go beyond the word of the Lord my God, to do less or more.

So the same day Pharaoh commanded the taskmasters of the people and their officers, saying,

So they said,“ The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Please, let us go three days’ journey into the desert and sacrifice to the Lord our God, lest He fall upon us with pestilence or with the sword.”

You shall speak all that I command you. And Aaron your brother shall tell Pharaoh to send the children of Israel out of his land.

And when I was present with you, and in need, I was a burden to no one, for what I lacked the brethren who came from Macedonia supplied. And in everything I kept myself from being burdensome to you, and so I will keep myself.As the truth of Christ is in me, no one shall stop me from this boasting in the regions of Achaia.

Then he said to him,“ Did not my heart go with you when the man turned back from his chariot to meet you? Is it time to receive money and to receive clothing, olive groves and vineyards, sheep and oxen, male and female servants?Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and your descendants forever.” And he went out from his presence leprous, as white as snow.

And whoever will not receive you nor hear you, when you depart from there, shake off the dust under your feet as a testimony against them. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!”

But he said,“ As the Lord lives, before whom I stand, I will receive nothing.” And he urged him to take it, but he refused.

And he said,“ I cannot return with you nor go in with you; neither can I eat bread nor drink water with you in this place.For I have been told by the word of the Lord,‘ You shall not eat bread nor drink water there, nor return by going the way you came.’”

He also swore to her,“ Whatever you ask me, I will give you, up to half my kingdom.”
