因猶大王馬拿西、行可惡之事、較昔亞摩哩族尤甚、使猶大人崇拜偶像、蹈於罪愆。

耶和華怒甚烈、氣甚憤、拔其根株、驅逐於異邦、即以今日之事為證。

以色列族又行惡於耶和華前、故耶和華使摩押王厄倫強盛、聚亞捫、亞馬力二族、攻以色列族、據有棗城。

不一心崇耶和華、惟惡是作。

爾視其所為、尚為細故、效其愆尤、猶為不足、更作不義、深堪痛疾。爾妹所多馬、及其眾女所為、與爾暨眾女較之、猶不為已甚、我耶和華固言之矣。

猶大族亦不守其上帝耶和華之誡命、從以色列族所擅立之禮儀。
