Then as he lay and slept under a broom tree, suddenly an angel touched him, and said to him,“ Arise and eat.”

Then he lay down under the bush and fell asleep. All at once an angel touched him and said,“ Get up and eat.”

And he took one of the stones of that place and put it at his head, and he lay down in that place to sleep.Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.And behold, the Lord stood above it and said:“ I am the Lord God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants.Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.”

Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?

And he said,“ Look, I am making known to you what shall happen in the latter time of the indignation; for at the appointed time the end shall be.

The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.

yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering.

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said,“ I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Yet I heard the sound of his words; and while I heard the sound of his words I was in a deep sleep on my face, with my face to the ground.Suddenly, a hand touched me, which made me tremble on my knees and on the palms of my hands.

The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, And delivers them.

Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying,“ Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands.
