那先知靠近以色列王，對他說：「去吧，你當自強，看清楚，也要知道你所要做的事，因為再過一年，亞蘭王會上來攻擊你。」

那先知来见以色列王，对他说：“你当自强，留心怎样防备；因为到明年这时候，亚兰王必上来攻击你。”

先知又来见以色列王，说：“你要加强防卫，做好准备，因为明年春天亚兰王必卷土重来。”

那先知前来见以色列王，对他说：“你要自强，留意看看你所要预备的，因为明年春天亚兰王必再上来攻击你。”

那先知來見以色列王，對他說：「你當自強，留心怎樣防備；因為到明年這時候，亞蘭王必上來攻擊你。」

那先知靠近以色列王，對他說：「去吧，你當自強，看清楚，也要知道你所要做的事，因為再過一年，亞蘭王會上來攻擊你。」

先知又來見以色列王，說：「你要加強防衛，做好準備，因為明年春天亞蘭王必捲土重來。」

那先知前來見以色列王，對他說：“你要自強，留意看看你所要預備的，因為明年春天亞蘭王必再上來攻擊你。”

那神言人走近前來見以色列王，對他說：『來！你奮勇自強吧；你要明白、要看清楚你所要作的；因為到了年頭、亞蘭王必上來攻擊你。』

先知進見以色列王曰、往哉、自強、慎爾所為、歲月既周、亞蘭王必來攻爾、

先知覲以色列王曰、當益爾軍旅、謹爾作為、明年亞蘭王必復至、以攻擊爾。

先知至以色列王前、謂之曰、當勉力自強、籌晝如何備禦、明年斯時、亞蘭王必復至攻擊爾、

Afterward, the prophet came to the king of Israel and said,“ Strengthen your position and see what must be done, because next spring the king of Aram will attack you again.”

After that, the prophet came to the king of Israel again. The prophet said,“ Make your position stronger. Do what needs to be done. Next spring the king of Aram will attack you again.”

Then the prophet came near to the king of Israel and said to him,“ Come, strengthen yourself, and consider well what you have to do, for in the spring the king of Syria will come up against you.”

Afterward the prophet said to King Ahab,“ Get ready for another attack. Begin making plans now, for the king of Aram will come back next spring.”

The prophet approached the king of Israel and said to him,“ Go and strengthen yourself, then consider carefully what you should do, for in the spring the king of Aram will attack you.”

Then the prophet approached the king of Israel and said to him,“ Go, show yourself courageous and be aware and see what you have to do; for at the turn of the year the king of Aram will march against you.”

And the prophet came to the king of Israel and said to him,“ Go, strengthen yourself; take note, and see what you should do, for in the spring of the year the king of Syria will come up against you.”

And the prophet came near to the king of Israel, and said unto him, Go, strengthen thyself, and mark, and see what thou doest; for at the return of the year the king of Syria will come up against thee.

The prophet approached the king of Israel and said to him,“ Go and strengthen yourself, then consider what you should do, for in the spring the king of Aram will march against you.”

And the prophet came to the king of Israel, and said unto him, Go, strengthen thyself, and mark, and see what thou doest: for at the return of the year the king of Syria will come up against thee.

The prophet visited the king of Israel and instructed him,“ Go, fortify your defenses. Determine what you must do, for in the spring the king of Syria will attack you.”

The prophet came near to the king of Israel, and said to him,“ Go, strengthen yourself, and mark, and see what you do; for at the return of the year the king of Syria will come up against you.”

過了一年，正是諸王出戰的時候，大衛派約押率領臣僕和以色列眾人出去。他們打敗亞捫人，圍攻拉巴。大衛仍然留在耶路撒冷。

看哪，一個先知靠近以色列王亞哈，說：「耶和華如此說：『這一大羣人你看見了嗎？看哪，今日我必把他們交在你手裏，你就知道我是耶和華。』」

過了一年，便‧哈達果然召集亞蘭人上亞弗去，要與以色列人打仗。

萬民哪，任憑你們行惡，終必毀滅；遠方的眾人哪，當側耳而聽！任憑你們束腰，終必毀滅；你們束起腰來，終必毀滅。

我是耶和華，這是我的名；我必不將我的榮耀歸給別神，也不將我所得的頌讚歸給雕刻的偶像。

那先知就去了，用頭巾蒙眼，改了裝，在路旁等候王。

他說：「我為耶和華－萬軍之神大發熱心，因為以色列人背棄了你的約，毀壞了你的壇，用刀殺了你的先知，只剩下我一人，他們還要追殺我。」

耶和華的名是堅固臺，義人奔入就得安穩。

你若一定要去，就奮勇作戰吧！但神必使你敗在敵人面前，因為神能助人得勝，也能使人落敗。」

到了年初，諸王出征的時候，約押率領軍兵蹂躪亞捫人的地，前來圍攻拉巴；大衛仍住在耶路撒冷。約押攻打拉巴，把它毀壞。

有一個臣僕說：「不，我主，我王！只有以色列中的先知以利沙，把王在臥房所說的話告訴以色列王。」

最後，你們要靠着主，依賴他的大能大力作剛強的人。

耶和華啊，你的手高舉，他們不觀看；願他們觀看你為百姓發的熱心而羞愧，願火吞滅你的敵人。

為何讓列國說「他們的神在哪裏」呢？但是，我們的神在天上，萬事都隨自己的旨意而行。

要等候耶和華，當壯膽，堅固你的心，要等候耶和華！

計謀憑籌算立定，打仗要憑智謀。

亞瑪謝壯起膽來，率領他的軍隊到鹽谷，殺了一萬西珥人。

當在列國中宣告：預備打仗，激發勇士，使所有戰士上前來。要將犁頭打成刀劍，鐮刀打成戈矛；弱者要說：「我是勇士。」

以色列王對約沙法說：「還有一個人，是音拉的兒子米該雅，我們可以託他求問耶和華。只是我真的很恨他，因為他對我說預言，從不說吉言，總是說凶信。」約沙法說：「請王不要這麼說。」
