Then two scoundrels came and sat opposite him and brought charges against Naboth before the people, saying,“ Naboth has cursed both God and the king.” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death.

‘ I have certainly seen yesterday the blood of Naboth and the blood of his sons,’ declares the Lord,‘ and I will repay you on this property,’ declares the Lord. Now then, pick him up and throw him on the property, in accordance with the word of the Lord.”

Then all the men of his city shall stone him to death; so you shall eliminate the evil from your midst, and all Israel will hear about it and fear.

As a result of this, Pilate made efforts to release Him; but the Jews shouted, saying,“ If you release this Man, you are not a friend of Caesar; everyone who makes himself out to be a king opposes Caesar!”

Like a club, a sword, and a sharp arrow Is a person who gives false testimony against his neighbor.

If a malicious witness rises up against a person to testify against him of wrongdoing,then both people who have the dispute shall stand before the Lord, before the priests and the judges who will be in office in those days.And the judges shall investigate thoroughly, and if the witness is a false witness and he has testified against his brother falsely,then you shall do to him just as he had planned to do to his brother. So you shall eliminate the evil from among you.And the rest of the people will hear and be afraid, and will never again do such an evil thing among you.So you shall not show pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, and foot for foot.

“ You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

A false witness who declares lies, And one who spreads strife among brothers.

Do not turn me over to the desire of my enemies, For false witnesses have risen against me, And the violent witness.

Then I looked again at all the acts of oppression which were being done under the sun. And behold, I saw the tears of the oppressed and that they had no one to comfort them; and power was on the side of their oppressors, but they had no one to comfort them.

then they shall bring the girl out to the doorway of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her to death, because she has committed a disgraceful sin in Israel by playing the prostitute in her father’s house; so you shall eliminate the evil from among you.

A false witness will not go unpunished, And one who declares lies will perish.

Then Amaziah, the priest of Bethel, sent word to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying,“ Amos has conspired against you in the midst of the house of Israel; the land is unable to endure all his words.

But reach out with Your hand now and touch all that he has; he will certainly curse You to Your face.”

Then Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, the silver, the robe, the bar of gold, his sons, his daughters, his oxen, his donkeys, his sheep, his tent, and all that belonged to him; and they brought them up to the Valley of Achor.And Joshua said,“ Why have you brought disaster on us? The Lord will bring disaster on you this day.” And all Israel stoned them with stones; and they burned them with fire after they had stoned them with stones.

For we have found this man a public menace and one who stirs up dissensions among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes.

A false witness will not go unpunished, And one who declares lies will not escape.

Furthermore, in your bedroom do not curse a king, and in your sleeping rooms do not curse a rich person; for a bird of the sky will bring the sound, and the winged one will make your word known.

And they began to bring charges against Him, saying,“ We found this man misleading our nation and forbidding us to pay taxes to Caesar, and saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.”

And some of the scribes said to themselves,“ This man is blaspheming!”

Then they secretly induced men to say,“ We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God.”

Then his wife said to him,“ Do you still hold firm your integrity? Curse God and die!”

And the son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name and cursed. So they brought him to Moses.( Now his mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.)Then they put him in custody, waiting for Moses to give them a clear decision in accordance with the command of the Lord.Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,“ Bring the one who has cursed outside the camp, and have all who heard him lay their hands on his head; then have all the congregation stone him.You shall also speak to the sons of Israel, saying,‘ If anyone curses his God, then he will bear the responsibility for his sin.Moreover, the one who blasphemes the name of the Lord must be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him. The stranger as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.

But they shouted with loud voices, and covered their ears and rushed at him with one mind.When they had driven him out of the city, they began stoning him; and the witnesses laid aside their cloaks at the feet of a young man named Saul.They went on stoning Stephen as he called on the Lord and said,“ Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!”

So you shall stone him to death, because he has attempted to drive you away from the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

Malicious witnesses rise up; They ask me things that I do not know.

‘ You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ The man must be put to death; all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp.”So all the congregation brought him outside the camp and stoned him to death with stones, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.

They will pass through the land dejected and hungry, and it will turn out that when they are hungry, they will become enraged and curse their king and their God as they face upward.

“ Then I will come near to you for judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, the adulterers, against those who swear falsely, those who oppress the wage earner in his wages or the widow or the orphan, and those who turn away the stranger from justice and do not fear Me,” says the Lord of armies.

then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city and you shall stone them to death: the girl, because she did not cry out for help though she was in the city, and the man, because he has violated his neighbor’s wife. So you shall eliminate the evil from among you.
