Then two scoundrels came and sat opposite him and brought charges against Naboth before the people, saying,“ Naboth has cursed both God and the king.” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death.

Then two worthless and evil men came and sat across from him. They brought charges against Naboth in front of the people. The two men said,“ Naboth has cursed God and the king.” So they took him outside the city. They killed him by throwing stones at him.

And the two worthless men came in and sat opposite him. And the worthless men brought a charge against Naboth in the presence of the people, saying,“ Naboth cursed God and the king.” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death with stones.

Then the two scoundrels came and sat down across from him. And they accused Naboth before all the people, saying,“ He cursed God and the king.” So he was dragged outside the town and stoned to death.

The two wicked men came in and sat opposite him. Then the wicked men testified against Naboth in the presence of the people, saying,“ Naboth has cursed God and the king!” So they took him outside the city and stoned him to death with stones.

And the two men, the base fellows, came in and sat before him: and the base fellows bare witness against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did curse God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him to death with stones.

And there came in two men, children of Belial, and sat before him: and the men of Belial witnessed against him,[ even] against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones, that he died.

The two villains arrived and sat opposite him. Then the villains testified against Naboth right before the people, saying,“ Naboth cursed God and the king.” So they dragged him outside the city and stoned him to death.

The two men, the wicked fellows, came in and sat before him. The wicked fellows testified against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying,“ Naboth cursed God and the king!” Then they carried him out of the city and stoned him to death with stones.

耶和華說：『我昨日看見拿伯的血和他眾子的血，我發誓我必在這塊田上報應你。』這是耶和華說的。現在你要照着耶和華的話，把他拋在這田裏。」

然後，城裏的眾人就要用石頭將他打死。這樣，你就把惡從你中間除掉，全以色列聽見了都要害怕。」

從此，彼拉多想要釋放耶穌，無奈猶太人喊着說：「你若釋放這個人，你就不是凱撒的忠臣。凡自立為王的就是背叛凱撒。」

作假見證陷害鄰舍的，就是大錘，是利刀，是快箭。

若有人懷惡意，起來作證，控告他人犯法，這兩個爭訟的人就要站在耶和華面前，和當時的祭司與審判官面前，審判官要細心調查。看哪，證人作的是偽證，要用偽證陷害弟兄，你們就要對付他如同他想要對付的弟兄一樣。這樣，你就把惡從你中間除掉。其他的人聽見就害怕，不敢在你中間再行這樣的惡事了。你的眼不可顧惜，要以命償命，以眼還眼，以牙還牙，以手還手，以腳還腳。」

「不可做假見證陷害你的鄰舍。

口吐謊言的假證人，並在弟兄間散播紛爭的人。

求你不要把我交給敵人，遂其所願；因為妄作見證的和口吐凶言的都起來攻擊我。

我轉而觀看日光之下所發生的一切欺壓之事。看哪，受欺壓的流淚，無人安慰；欺壓他們的有權勢，也無人安慰。

他們就要把這女子帶到她父家的門口，城裏的人要用石頭打死她，因為她在父家犯了淫亂，在以色列中做了可恥的事。這樣，你就把惡從你中間除掉。

作假見證的，難免受罰；口吐謊言的，必定滅亡。

伯特利的祭司亞瑪謝派人到以色列王耶羅波安那裏，說：「阿摩司在以色列家中圖謀背叛你，他所說的一切話，這地不能承擔；

但你若伸手毀他一切所有的，他必當面背棄你。」

約書亞和以色列眾人把謝拉的曾孫亞干和那銀子、那件外袍、那條金子，以及亞干的兒女、牛、驢、羊、帳棚，和他所有的，都帶着上到亞割谷去。約書亞說：「你為甚麼給我們招惹災禍呢？今日耶和華必使你遭受災禍。」於是以色列眾人用石頭打死他，用火焚燒他們，把石頭扔在其上。

我們看這個人如同瘟疫一般，是鼓動普天下所有的猶太人作亂的人，又是拿撒勒教派裏的一個頭目。

作假見證的，難免受罰；口吐謊言的，不能逃脫。

不可詛咒君王，連起意也不可，在臥室裏也不可詛咒富人；因為空中的飛鳥必傳揚這聲音，有翅膀的必述說這事。

他們開始控告他說：「我們見這人煽惑我們的國民，禁止我們納稅給凱撒，並說自己是基督，是王。」

這時，有幾個文士心裏說：「這個人說褻瀆的話了。」

宴席的日子過了，約伯派人去叫他們自潔。他清早起來，按着他們眾人的數目獻燔祭，因為他說：「恐怕我的兒子犯了罪，心中背棄神。」約伯常常這樣行。

因為有好些人作假見證告他，他們的見證又各不相符。又有幾個人站起來，作假見證告他說：「我們聽見他說：『我要拆毀這人手所造的殿，三日內另造一座不是人手所造的。』」就是這樣，他們的見證還是不相符。

就收買人來說：「我們聽見他說褻瀆摩西和神的話。」

他的妻子對他說：「你仍然持守你的純正嗎？你背棄神，死了吧！」

以色列婦人的兒子詛咒，褻瀆了聖名。有人把他送到摩西那裏。他的母親名叫示羅密，是但支派底伯利的女兒。他們把這人收押在監裏，等候耶和華指示的話。耶和華吩咐摩西說：「把那詛咒的人帶到營外。凡聽見的人都要把手放在他頭上，全會眾要用石頭打死他。你要吩咐以色列人說：凡詛咒神的，必要擔當自己的罪。褻瀆耶和華名的，必被處死；全會眾必須用石頭打死他。無論是寄居的，是本地人，他褻瀆聖名的時候必被處死。

眾人大聲喊叫，摀着耳朵，齊心衝向他，把他推到城外，用石頭打他。作見證的人把他們的衣裳放在一個名叫掃羅的青年腳前。他們正用石頭打司提反的時候，他呼求說：「主耶穌啊，求你接納我的靈魂！」

要用石頭打死他，因為他想引誘你離開那領你出埃及地為奴之家的耶和華－你的神。

兇惡的見證人起來，盤問我所不知道的事。

「『不可做假見證陷害你的鄰舍。

耶和華吩咐摩西說：「這人應當處死；全會眾要在營外用石頭打死他。」於是全會眾把他帶到營外，用石頭打死他，是照耶和華所吩咐摩西的。

他必經過這地，遇艱難，受飢餓；飢餓的時候，心中焦躁，咒罵自己的君王和神。他仰觀上天，

萬軍之耶和華說：「我必臨近你們，施行審判。我必速速作見證，警戒那些行邪術的、犯姦淫的、起假誓的、剝削雇工工錢的、欺壓孤兒寡婦的、屈枉寄居者的和不敬畏我的人。」

你們就要把這二人帶到那城的城門口，用石頭打死他們。處死女子是因為她雖然在城裏，卻沒有喊叫；處死男子是因為他玷污了鄰舍的妻子。這樣，你就把惡從你中間除掉。
