Then Jezebel his wife said to him,“ You now exercise authority over Israel! Arise, eat food, and let your heart be cheerful; I will give you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.”

王后耶洗别对亚哈说：“你现在是治理以色列国不是？只管起来，心里畅畅快快地吃饭，我必将耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄园给你。”

耶洗别王后对王说：“你现在是不是治理以色列国呢？只管起来，心里畅畅快快地吃饭，我会把耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄园给你。”

耶洗别王后对王说：“你现在是不是治理以色列国呢？只管起来，心里畅畅快快地吃饭，我会把耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄园给你。”

耶洗别说：“你忘了自己是以色列王吗？起来吃饭吧，高兴点，我必让你得到耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄园。”

他的妻子耶洗别对他说：“你现在不是统治以色列的王吗？只管起来吃饭，心神畅快，我必能把耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄园给你。”

王后耶洗別對亞哈說：「你現在是治理以色列國不是？只管起來，心裏暢暢快快地吃飯，我必將耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄園給你。」

耶洗別說：「你忘了自己是以色列王嗎？起來吃飯吧，高興點，我必讓你得到耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄園。」

他的妻子耶洗別對他說：“你現在不是統治以色列的王嗎？只管起來吃飯，心神暢快，我必能把耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄園給你。”

王后耶洗別對亞哈說：『你現在是掌王權管理以色列的不是？只管起來喫飯，讓心裏暢暢快快；我，我一定將耶斯列人拿伯的葡萄園給你。』

其后耶洗別曰、爾今治以色列國乎、其起而食、中心歡暢、我必以耶斯列人拿伯之葡萄園給爾、

耶洗別、曰爾非統轄以色列國者乎、可歡然飲食、我將以耶斯烈人拿泊之園予爾。

王后耶洗別謂之曰、今爾轄以色列國乎、不轄乎、可起、歡然以食、我將以耶斯烈人拿伯葡萄園予爾、

Jezebel his wife said,“ Is this how you act as king over Israel? Get up and eat! Cheer up. I’ll get you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.”

His wife Jezebel said,“ Is this how the king of Israel acts? Get up! Eat something! Cheer up. I’ll get you the vineyard of Naboth from Jezreel.”

And Jezebel his wife said to him,“ Do you now govern Israel? Arise and eat bread and let your heart be cheerful; I will give you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.”

“ Are you the king of Israel or not?” Jezebel demanded.“ Get up and eat something, and don’t worry about it. I’ll get you Naboth’s vineyard!”

Then his wife Jezebel said to him,“ Now, exercise your royal power over Israel. Get up, eat some food, and be happy. For I will give you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.”

Jezebel his wife said to him,“ Do you now reign over Israel? Arise, eat bread, and let your heart be joyful; I will give you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.”

And Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the kingdom of Israel? arise, and eat bread, and let thy heart be merry: I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.

Then his wife Jezebel said to him,“ Now, exercise your royal power over Israel. Get up, eat some food, and be happy. For I will give you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.”

And Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the kingdom of Israel? arise,[ and] eat bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.

His wife Jezebel said to him,“ You are the king of Israel! Get up, eat some food, and have a good time. I will get the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite for you.”

Jezebel his wife said to him,“ Do you now govern the kingdom of Israel? Arise, and eat bread, and let your heart be merry. I will give you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.”

Then all the elders of Israel gathered together and came to Samuel at Ramah,

A greyhound, A male goat also, And a king whose troops are with him.

And he said to him,“ Why are you, the king’s son, becoming thinner day after day? Will you not tell me?” Amnon said to him,“ I love Tamar, my brother Absalom’s sister.”

Where the word of a king is, there is power; And who may say to him,“ What are you doing?”

That they may successfully do evil with both hands— The prince asks for gifts, The judge seeks a bribe, And the great man utters his evil desire; So they scheme together.

And he will take the best of your fields, your vineyards, and your olive groves, and give them to his servants.

Then I returned and considered all the oppression that is done under the sun: And look! The tears of the oppressed, But they have no comforter— On the side of their oppressors there is power, But they have no comforter.

And it came to pass, when Jezebel heard that Naboth had been stoned and was dead, that Jezebel said to Ahab,“ Arise, take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, which he refused to give you for money; for Naboth is not alive, but dead.”So it was, when Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, that Ahab got up and went down to take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.

Woe to those who devise iniquity, And work out evil on their beds! At morning light they practice it, Because it is in the power of their hand.They covet fields and take them by violence, Also houses, and seize them. So they oppress a man and his house, A man and his inheritance.

And because of the majesty that He gave him, all peoples, nations, and languages trembled and feared before him. Whomever he wished, he executed; whomever he wished, he kept alive; whomever he wished, he set up; and whomever he wished, he put down.But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit was hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him.Then he was driven from the sons of men, his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. They fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till he knew that the Most High God rules in the kingdom of men, and appoints over it whomever He chooses.
